With it being Halloween will the freaks come out tonight? Watch out for a Bumgarner and a guy dressed as a Hunter! Major League Baseball put this one late at an uncoordinated time of 8:20pm ET. The second of three to come at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Former President and Texas owner George W. Bush and the First Lady took in last nights game. A difference that new owner Nolan Ryan will undoubtedly notice and will, I am sure offer the nice seats to him once again. Texas fought back and continues to make this worldly encounter, a series.
The San Francisco Giants turn to the surprisingly steady Rookie in Madison Bumgarner who has put his team in place for the win in all three appearances in the 2010 playoffs. Bumgarner is cementing his spot in the rotation for 2011 and is getting pretty close to becoming the best lefty-starter on the squad. (Zito unnamed to PO team, Sanchez playing badly).
Texas Rangers turn to Tommy Hunter who was blasted in his most previous appearance giving up three and being pulled after 3 1/3 innings pitched versus the Yankees. The reason why these two teams are here is that they pick up their fallen and regroup and come back. Hunter has not made it to five innings pitched or 75 pitches in any of his starts in the post-season. A glaring stat that should warn most.

Giants vs Rangers World Series Prediction for Game 4:
Moneyline Prediction (Top Play) — At first glance I wanted to say this would be a 6-3 win for the Rangers, but upon further review, I am going the other way. Hunter and game 3 starter Colby Lewis are often mistaken, but when you look at their lines, they are very different at present, which makes me revert back to the way of thinking in my perfectly picked two previous posts. The thought was that the first game is going to Texas and when Cliff Lee pitches in Texas for game five, that is their spots. For the Giants this is their one chance to steal one in Arlington. Bumgarner is boss! And if Posey can help and stop looking like a rookie batter, SFG should get one step closer.
Game Total Prediction – With Bumgarner and these bullpens rolling, the under is likely. This game four matchup will at worst slightly go over and at a number as big as nine and the run total in game three only hitting six, I feel comfortable. I didn’t want to ruin a good streak of winning picks, by picking the total as my top play, but thought about it. Though game three was the only one that went under the proposed total of nine, I am seeing these teams offenses settle for scoring a few and staying away from the big innings. In keeping with the Halloween theme, stranger things have happened.
