Opening Pitch:

Atlanta gets back home after losing two of three in Philadelphia while the Marlins ended a four- game losing streak on Saturday with a 3-0 win over the Mets.

Both teams are chasing the Phillies as Atlanta is two games back and in second in the NL East while the Marlins check in at 3.5 out.

The Braves won the season series, 6-4, a year ago and had a 4-3 advantage at Truist Field. Atlanta has won the season series in each of the last six years as Miami had a 10-9 advantage in 2014.

Huascar Ynoa (0-0) takes the mound for Atlanta as he held the Nationals to only two hits while he carried a career-high five strikeouts in a scoreless decision. Atlanta is 9-4 in Ynoa’s 13 appearances and 4-2 in his six starts.

Sandy Alcantara (0-1, 1.50 ERA) makes his third start for the Marlins as he lost his second start of the season to St. Louis when he gave up three runs on four hits in six innings. Alcantara has struck out 17 batters and only walked four in his first two outings.
