Since beating the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas, the Brooklyn Nets have remained in Los Angeles. That was a hard-fought win aided by an undisciplined Lakers team.
The Nets blew two big leads but ended up on top by 122-115. That isn’t a game the Lakers should have lost.
If Russell Westbrook doesn’t run around the floor lost, it isn’t a game that the Lakers probably lose.

The Lakers clawed back in the 4th to erase a big deficit for the second time at 115-115, and then their abysmal defense showed its colors again.
That was a frustrating loss if you had the Lakers, but it only got more frustrating for me yesterday.
Two losses by a point just hours apart in a day of tough beats, which included a 4th down meaningless touchdown by the Steelers to ruin a total bet.
If you bet every day that’s going to happen, though. It’s impossible to avoid the bad beat days. When it rains, it usually pours.
We’re back on the NBA hardwood, looking to stay away from gut-wrenching losses. The Nets are looking for their seventh win in their last eight outings.
The Nets were sick and banged up against the Lakers. That didn’t bother their chances against the Lakers, but they should see more pushback in this one at Crypto.com Arena.
Game Ending: Nuggets @ Clippers

Last night, the Clippers are coming off a 103-100 win over the Denver Nuggets. Denver went on a scoring drought in the 3rd quarter with no points scored for around 7 minutes.
They didn’t point a point on the board until around 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Despite blowing a comfortable lead, the Nuggets still held on for the win and enough to bury -3.5 and -4 backers.
Head below for our free Nets vs. Clippers pick on December 27, 2021.

Nets vs. Clippers Prediction:
The Nets will be down talent again on Monday night. Kevin Durant is still in Covid protocol, though Steve Nash is hopeful that he will exit this week.
The Nets have the Philadelphia 76ers at home on Thursday. That or the Clippers on Saturday to welcome the Nets to Brooklyn looks like a good time for Durant to make his return to the lineup.
Durant isn’t the only player the Nets are without again tonight. They have eight players on their Covid list, including Kyrie Irving.
That could change by tip-off versus the Clippers, though know that Irving, Durant, and LaMarcus Aldridge will not be on the floor in this one. This leaves the Nets with another mix and match lineup.

- UNDER is 15-5-1 in their previous 12 games on a Monday
The Clippers are down plenty of firepower on Monday night as well. Paul George, Reggie Jackson, and Marcus Morris Sr. are not expected to be on the floor tonight.
Just like last night, expect the Clippers to rely heavily on their defense to attempt to win. They don’t have the personnel to get it done on the offensive floor.
Even when the Clippers have been healthy, they’ve relied on their defense. Overall, the Clippers are 25th in the NBA with 105.4 points per game.
Meanwhile, the Nets are second-best at limiting teams from the field. Brooklyn has held their opponents to a 42.9 field goal percentage and the best in the NBA with a three-point percentage against of 30.9%.
The Clippers rely on their defense, which has allowed 104.7 points against per game for fifth in the league. They are fifth defensively and a tick better at home.
Brooklyn was able to cut through the standing still Lakers’ defense, but they should see more resistance in this one. With both teams dealing with injuries and Covid to their sharpshooters, the UNDER has to be worth considering.
