The Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks meet in Game 2 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. The NBA Playoffs are in full swing now, with some series pretty clear about the direction that they’re going.
The Bucks are coming off a 93-86 win in Game 1 on Sunday. There is some good and bad news to take from that game. The Bulls’ usual spotty defense held up surprisingly well against the dangerous’ Bucks.

However, they couldn’t hit a shot, this a Bulls team that depends on their shooting from the perimeter. If the Bulls can’t nail down shots from three, it’s really tough to win games with their defense.
Defending Giannis Antetokounmpo can be exhausting. It takes a lot out of a team to try to keep up with Giannis for a full series.
The Bulls held the Bucks to 93 in the first meeting, and I’m concerned they might have used too much out of their gas tank in Game 1. This isn’t a Bulls team that was known for their defense in the regular season.

Bulls vs. Bucks Prediction:
The Bucks had an off game offensively in Game 1. That was the Bulls’ game to win. They missed a great opportunity to catch the Bucks in a bad game and steal one.
It was also a much better than anticipated game for the Bulls’ defense. We usually don’t see Chicago in that good of form defensively. So, the question here is if the Bulls can play that well and bother the Bucks’ scorers again.
The Bulls are also going to need the Bucks to shoot poorly again. What is the probability that it happens in back-to-back games for the Bucks at home? Of course, it is possible, but expect the Bucks to have a quality night from the field.
Overall this season, the Bucks were third in the NBA with 115.5 points per game. They were dangerous on the inside with Giannis and on the outside as well. Milwaukee is fifth in the league with a 36.6% three-point percentage.
Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks Betting Trends:
Bulls

- 2-5 ATS in their previous seven games after covering the spread
- 4-10 ATS in their previous ten games versus a team with a winning record
- 2-5 ATS in their previous seven games versus the Bucks
Bucks
- 4-1 ATS in their previous five games as a betting favorite
- 7-2 ATS in their previous nine games after failing to cover the spread
- 10-3-1 ATS in their previous 14 quarterfinal games in the NBA Playoffs
- 4-1 ATS in their previous five games at home versus a team with a losing record on the road
- 5-2 ATS in their previous seven games versus the Bulls
The difference tonight is going to be the Bulls trying to stop Giannis on the interior. He loosened them up in the first game and now in Game 2, this is probably where the Greek Freak really begins to take this series over. The Bulls aren’t going to have an answer on the inside.
The Bulls slowed the Bucks down for one game, but this likely isn’t going to be the case tonight. Milwaukee will make adjustments and likely come out and put a big number on the board in Game 2.
Chicago had their chance in a game where the Bucks were slow in Game 1. They can’t depend on that happening a second time in Milwaukee. It’s a lot of points, but the Bucks likely dig in and run away for a double-digit win before this series turns to the United Center for Game 3.
