Chicago Bulls vs. Washington Wizards Pick – NBA March 29, 2022

The Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards have a Tuesday night meeting at Capital One Arena. On Sunday, Washington is coming off a big win over the Golden State Warriors.

There isn’t much for the Wizards to celebrate this season, but they came through nicely for a 123-115 win over the Steph Curry-less Warriors. Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson combined for 51 points, though it wasn’t enough.

Corey Kispert and Kristaps Porzingis combined for 48 points, with good support off the bench for the Wizards. That was the difference in the game. Golden State didn’t get the best help from their bench players.

With the win, the Wizards carry a record of 32-42 into tonight. They are down Bradley Beal, who hasn’t played since January 29 in a 115-95 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Were things really going well back then, though? Not quite. Beal was on a five-game losing streak before exiting with a wrist injury.

That said, there’s no doubt that the Wizards are a better team when he’s on the floor. If the Wizards can stay healthy next year, they might be alright with a combo of Porzingis and Beal. That is if Beal stays in Washington, which it appears that’s where he’s leaning.

The Bulls are coming off a 109-104 loss to the New York Knicks last night. After a 98-94 win at Cleveland two days earlier, this was a discouraging performance.

Chicago had lost five of six attempts before that win, but got right back to losing versus a beatable Knicks team at MSG. Head below for our free Bulls vs. Wizards prediction on March 29, 2022.

Bulls vs. Wizards Prediction:

The Bulls must get back to basics on the floor, and they will be fine for the playoffs. They’re allowing themselves to get away from properly doing the fundamentals, and the losses have come with it.

The second-best shooting team in the league this season has scored just 104.4 points per game on 46.6% shooting through their previous five attempts.

Overall, the Bulls are the second-best in the league with a 48% field goal percentage and a 37% three-point percentage. They have put in 111.5 points per game for 12th in the NBA.

Chicago has been efficient on the road from the field this season as well. As a visitor, the Bulls have scored 108.7 points per game on a 47.3% field goal percentage.

The Bulls have made easy work of the Wizards’ defense in their last two meetings. They’ve scored 120 and 130 points, coming off a 130-122 win over the Wizards on January 7.

Chicago Bulls vs. Washington Wizards Betting Trends:

  • 8-2 ATS in their previous ten games on a Tuesday
  • 8-3 ATS in their previous 12 games versus the Wizards
  • 8-2 ATS in their previous ten games at Washington
  • 34-16 ATS in their previous 50 games as a betting favorite
  • UNDER is 6-0 in their previous six games as a betting favorite
  • 3-7 ATS in their previous ten games as an underdog at home
  • 5-17 ATS in their previous 22 games after a win
  • 1-6 ATS in their previous seven games versus a team with a winning percentage better than 60%
  • 5-15 ATS in their previous 20 games after one-day rest
  • 16-35 ATS in their previous 51 games on a Tuesday

The Wizards’ defense has not been a model for other teams to follow. Bradley Beal can be a really good defender at times, but tires out on defense having to carry the offensive load. The addition of Kristaps Porzingis will help next year if they’re both together in Washington.

They certainly aren’t a better defensive unit without him, though. The Wizards are 18th in the NBA with 111.5 points against per game and a 46.2% field goal percentage. Chicago has figured out their defense pretty easily.

Along with no Beal tonight, Kyle Kuzma has been ruled OUT for the Wizards again after missing the last five games. His 17.1 points and 8.5 rebounds a game will be missed. Off a 123-115 win versus Golden State, expect a letdown for the Wizards.

I’m going with the Bulls, who should be the more motivated team in this one. This looks like an ideal spot to get the Bulls’ offense moving again.
