The Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks meet at the Fiserv Forum on Monday night in Milwaukee. The defending champs are coming off a 124-102 win over the Miami Heat on Saturday. It was an impressive dismantling of a quality Heat team at home.
The win gives the Bucks wins in nine of their last ten outings. They were dropped by the Toronto Raptors on Thursday, 97-93, but responded nicely without Giannis in the lineup. Pat Connaughton and Khris Middleton came up big with 23 and 22 points in the winning cause.
Everyone was getting buckets this week!! ?

Giannis was absent in the loss to the Raptors. That much was evident, as the Raptors looked like the better team on that night. The Bucks were able to adjust well for their next opponent and made it look easy without their leader. Even with him this season, the Bucks haven’t looked particularly hot.
Call it a small hangover after winning the championship, but overall, they are expected of more than a record of 15-9. Having said that, the Bucks have been in good form recently. They have only lost one game since November 17. Giannis is listed as questionable to play at home versus the Cavaliers tonight.
The Bucks don’t want to rush him back onto the floor. It’s only early December, and they are going to need a healthy Giannis for the second-half. He’s dealing with a sore calf. It isn’t anything serious fortunately, though. Cavaliers’ rookie Evan Mobley is back on the floor after nursing an elbow injury.
"He doesn't seem a rookie."

He’s been back for five games after missing four. It’s quite obvious when the star rookie is on the floor and he isn’t. His presence is going to be required for a strong playoff push, but also don’t forget about Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen. Winners in four of their last five attempts, the Cavs are coming off a 109-108 loss to a good Utah squad. Head below for our free Cavaliers vs. Bucks pick on December 6, 2021.

Cavaliers vs. Bucks Prediction:
Evan Mobley falling into the laps of the Cavaliers in the draft is the best thing to happen to this organization since Lebron James went back to Cleveland and won a championship. Mobley changes everything for the Cavaliers.
Cleveland finished 22-50 last season, and look like a borderline playoff team this season now. They’ve been better on both sides of the floor, with the defense taking a noticeable jump forward this season.
Mobley’s athleticism and length in the paint changes this team quickly. The Cavaliers are second in the NBA with 102 points against per game. They’ve been more aggressive on the boards at fourth in the league.
That’s required to beat the Bucks. Cleveland can’t allow the Bucks to bully them around in the paint. Mobley likely won’t let that happen.
During their recent wins, the Cavaliers have been looking good against some quality teams. They beat the Mavericks, 114-96, Heat, 111-95, Wizards, 116-101, and came only a point away from beating the Jazz.

The Cavaliers have been one of the best bets in the NBA this season. Like the Detroit Lions in the NFL, they may not be the best team but they cover spreads. That’s all that should matter to sports bettors.
Milwaukee hasn’t been the toughest defensively this season. When it comes to effort on defense, give me the Cavaliers in that regard. The Bucks are 14th in the NBA with 106.4 points allowed per game.
They have been average on the board in 14th in offensive rebounding, and with Giannis questionable, they would have a major disadvantage against Mobley. The Cavs have been better on the road than at home as well.
Cleveland has scored 107.2 points a game, while allowing 101.9 points a game on the road. They are scoring a few more points on the road than overall this season.
I’m not running to the window to lay points on the Bucks in this spot. The Cavaliers are a pesky team that doesn’t go away or give in to their opponents. This should be close, with the points the best bet.
