PG: Michael Carter-Williams: (4,800) The Bulls tonight will be without SF Jimmy Butler (illness), Dwayne Wade (rest), and potentially PG Rajon Rondo if he remains out of the rotation. Even if Rondo returns Carter-Williams should play as much as possible and should see huge increases in usage. There has only been 24 minutes this season MCW has been on the court without Butler and Wade and in those minutes he posts a 24% usage rate with a 25% assist percentage. This is obviously a very small size of data, but I think we will seen even higher rates tonight. In his rookie season with The Sixers, Carter-Williams was named the rookie of the year, averaging 34 DK points in 33 minutes a game, with a usage rate of 28% and a high assist percentage of 43%.

Also over his last three seasons when he has a usage rate higher than 25%, he is averaging a great 33.8 DK points per game. Tonight with this Bulls team so shorthanded, I think we could he see him putting up similar numbers in an increased role vs The Wizards (10th vs PGs). The Bulls are currently 10.5 point road underdogs, but regardless of how this game goes, they are so depleted that he should easily top 30 minutes tonight. I am expecting at least 25 DK points out of him with upside with the heavy workload he should take on tonight. PG Jerian Grant should also play a lot and is good value at $3,100, but doesn’t present the same upside MCW. They are both such good values at their respective prices that I will most likely have both players in my lineups tonight.

C: Pau Gasol: (5,600) With starting PF LaMarcus Alridge out tonight (illness), Gasol should take on a bigger role in The Spur offense vs The Bucks. This year with Aldridge off the court, Gasol has seen his usage rate rise 4.3% to 25.7%. In the three games this season Aldridge has missed, Gasol is averaging a great 38.9 DK points in 31.3 minutes a game. With this being an island game tonight, he should play 30+ minutes vs this Bucks defense that has been average defending centers allowing the 15th most DK points to the position with a nice opponent +/- of 1.27 points.

Gasol should have no issues against this Bucks frontline and with the minutes and usage increases, he should score 30 DK points with upside this evening. With David Lee gaining all the attention tonight, Gasol may get over looked and is currently only projected to be owned between 5-8% according to Fantasy Labs. This makes him even more of an appealing option and he is one of my favorite GPP targets of Tuesday night.

PF/C: Spencer Hawes: (3,500) Hawes may not start but he is the player who benefits the most with starting center Cody Zeller out. (illness) In the six full games Zeller has missed this season, Hawes leads this team with a DK point +/- of 8.7 points. In these games he is averaging 25 DK points in 26 minutes off the bench. The Hornets will also be without starting SF Nicholas Batum who is listed as doubtful with a knee injury.

There hasn’t been any full games this season that both Batum and Zeller have missed, but when they have both been off the floor, Hawes is averaging 36.7 DK points per 36 minutes. This is obviously a dramatic projection, but either way tonight he should score 20+ DK points in around 25 minutes off the bench vs The Rockets. (13th vs Centers) At $3,500 he is one of the best values of the slate and is very valuable because he can be played at PF or Center.

Also Consider: Doug McDermott (was awful last night but should start), Nikola Mirotic, David Lee (nice value, will be highly owned), Andre Igudola (Klay Thompson is out), Crisitiano Felicio, Rajon Rondo (if he plays), Denzel Valentine, Tony Parker, Marcus Morris (Jon Leuer is out), Jeremy Lamb, Gerald Green (19.75 DK points with Avery Bradley out last game), Tim Hardaway Jr., and Marcin Gortat.
