C: Clint Capela: (6,000) Capela is coming off one of his strongest performances of the year in Sunday’s win over The Blazers, scoring a career high 21 points with nine rebounds and two blocks. (36.25 DK points) He has been very consistent lately with a nice increase of playing time compared to the start of the season. He has now played 30+ minutes in five straight games, which has resulted in a high average of 35.45 DK points. Also I don’t if it has been part of the game plan, but he has been much more involved in the offense taking 12.4 shots per game compared to his season average of nine attempts a game.

Tonight he will look to keep things going in a tough matchup with The Jazz who rank 5th vs centers this season. Even though this isn’t the perfect spot for him, I think he will still produce with his new found confidence. Even though he has been playing great lately, his ownership always seems to be low and I don’t expect it to change tonight in this tougher matchup. I think Capela will top 30 DK points again tonight and he is one of my favorite values at center on Tuesday night.

PG: Jose Calderon: (3,700) The 35 year old Spaniard has been a surprise for The Lakers starting in place of the injured D’Angelo Russell (knee), averaging 24.5 DK points in his last four starts. He only plays around 20 minutes a night, but has posted a very high 37.7% assist percentage in his last four games. Tonight Calderon and The Lakers head to New Orleans to play The Pelicans in the best game environment of the night, with a high total of 217 points, and a tight spread of 5.5 points in favor of The Pelicans.

After two straight one sided games for The Lakers, this more competitive tilt should slightly bump Calderon’s minutes to around 25 minutes tonight. This season he has produced just under 1.0 DK points per minute, and should score close to 20 DK points on Tuesday night. Calderon isn’t the most exciting play, but seems like a necessary punt tonight if you want to squeeze in any high priced studs.

SG: Jamal Crawford: (3,700) SG is a very ugly position tonight with top option James Harden in a tough matchup with The Jazz. Crawford looks like the best value at the position tonight if this game goes as expected. Crawford and The Clippers are taking on The Nets and are 12.5 point favorites with the highest team total of the night at 114.5 points. This is a perfect situation for the sixth man who should see a few extra minutes off the bench if this game ends up being a blowout.

Sunday night The Clippers crushed The Pacers by 21 points, which lead to Crawford playing a season high 34 minutes. He only scored 15.5 DK points which wasn’t bad for his salary, but I would expect a better performance tonight against The Nets who rank 26th vs SGs and play at the second fastest pace in The NBA this season. With no clear value at SG tonight, I think it makes sense to deploy Crawford at this cheap price, with the hope of this game getting out hand early.

Also Consider: Tobias Harris, D.J. Augstin, Pau Gasol (first night of B2B), Nikola Vucevic, Matthew Dellavedova (revenge game), Jeremy Lamb, Jordan Clarkson, John Henson, Brandon Ingram (if Julius Randle is out), Larry Nance Jr. (if Randle is out), and Ish Smith.
