FanDuel NBA Picks – April 4th

Hey Guys, I’m back again offering some of my favorite FanDuel NBA picks for today’s nice 11 game slate. There isnt much to report on from the NBA yesterday as there was only game played. The Trailblazers lost to the Timberwolves 109-110 thanks in part to a big game from the big 3 in Minnesota. Both of these teams play tonight it was is a road back to back, which is never something you want to target for DFS purposes. Unfortunately one of the best games on paper tonight involves the Timberwolves @ Golden state which Vegas has set at 220 point total, but the Warriors are 14 point favorites.

The injuries and players resting tonight are starting to add up the notable players that will be missing tonight game are – Seth Curry, Dirk Nowitzki, Wesley Matthews, Jusef Nurkic, Rodney Hood, George Hill, Jameer Nelson, Will Barton and Melo (GTD).

Lets get into tonight’s FanDuel NBA picks, tonight I’ll be giving out my favorite studs and value picks.

SF – Jimmy Butler – $10,000 – This man has been on absolute tear lately and is single handily keeping the Bulls playoffs hopes alive. Jimmy Buckets has played in over 35 minutes in 10 of his last 11 games, and is averaging close to 20 shots per game. Butlers price has increased over the past month and is now 10k tonight, but he has exceeded salary expectations in 3 of his last 5 games. The Bulls have a team implied total of 104 tonight and take on the Knicks who are in full tank mode and have nothing to play for and could be without Melo tonight. Butler will be in every one of my cash line ups tonight.

C – Demarcus Cousins -$9,600 – Boogie is back to his old ways, and no I dont mean averaging a technical foul every two games. I’m talking about the 20-10 Boogie Cousins, because thats exactly what hes done in 4 of his past 5 games. The Pelicans playoff hopes are all but a foregone conclusion, but that doesn’t mean this team cant use these valuable games left to build chemistry for next year. It also doesnt hurt that they have a great match up tonight against one the most DFS friendly teams in the NBA the Nuggets. Vegas has this line set at a modest 230, and it they expect the game to stay close throughout with the Pelicans coming in as a 2 point favorite. Another angle to look at is the fact Anthony Davis missed part of last game due to a bad ankle, and could very easily tweak it again tonight. If that happens look for Cousins usage to go way up.

PG – Jamal Murray – $3,700 – The masses in GPP’s tonight will flock to Mudiay because of the game he had against the Heat on Sunday. There is a reason Mudiay was pulled from the rotation for the second half the season and I think owners of Mudiay tonight will be reminded of that. We’ve seen Murray have big games before and its not like he played against Miami he still produced 17 FD points, it was just a let down for the spot he was in. Tonight we will zig when everyone is zagging to Mudiay who will come in at a much higher ownership. I dont think either of these guys are cash game worthy thought, so I will only be playing them in GPPs.

SG – Timothe Luwawu – $4200 – I’m not sure how he is still priced under 5K with the recent performances hes been having with his extended run. Luwawu has scored at least 24.8 FD points in 5 straights games and even scoring 33 in one. Luwau provides us nice salary relief on a slate that features Mr. Triple Doube, Lebron, Giannis, Butler, Cousins and Jokic. I think Luwawu is cash safe and provides enough of a ceiling in what should be a high scoring game against the Brooklyn nets. The recent production will boost up his ownership though in GPPs, so if you make multiple line ups a fade in a few wouldnt be a bad idea.
