Hey guys, the All-star break is finally over so you know what that means, DFS is back. The All-star break was enjoyable, it was nice not having a mini heart attack every night around 6:30 when a player would get ruled out. Having said that I’m ready to get back to the daily grind for the second half of the NBA season.
As most of you know there have been multiple trades in past few,the past few hours, and trades are going down as im writing this. Before locking in your lineups I highly suggest you checking twitter to see if teams newly acquired players will dress. If they do dress, check to see if they’re in the projected starting line ups or if they are on a minutes restriction. As it stands right now it looks like Terrance Ross will play tonight for the Magic and Tyreke Evans is on a 27 minute restriction. I know what you’re here for, and its for the FanDuel NBA Picks. Lets get to it!

SG – James Harden ($ 12600) – Yes, I know James Harden comes with a hefty price tag, but there is value all over this slate. Shooting guard is the most difficult position every night, because of the nature of the position with its volatility. James Harden on the road this season is averaging 28 points, 8 rebounds and 11.5 assists in 36 minutes which is good for 54 FD/PPG. The next closest player is CJ McCollum who is averaging 20 points less per game than Harden. This is a position where you do not want to be left without the only player who can feasibly put up 60+ points, in a great match up against the Pelicans. Also, Vegas has the over/under at 227 with a very competitive 4 points spread.
Mid – Tier
PF – Frank “The Tank” Kaminsky ($ 6000) – Well I’m not really sure if anyone calls him Frank the Tank, but I feel like I’m obligated to because of the amazing movie Old School. Zeller and Plumlee have already been ruled out tonight, meaning Frank will be starting again and in line for 32+ minutes. The price on Frank has been rising but he has still out performed his new salary of 30 FD points in 4 out of his last 5 games. I release my cash game building blocks on twitter just about every night, and you can bet you’ll see Frank. The consistency of Frank make him a lock in cash tonight.
(Frank Kaminsky recent game log via Fantasy Labs.) As you see the only game he underperformed in recently, was due to the lack of minutes against the Houston Rockets.
SF – Aaron Gordon ($ 4500) – Hey Aaron, were giving you an opportunity tonight to make up for that awful dunk contest on Saturday. The Magic’s front court is completely depleted with the trade of Serge Ibaka and the injury to Biyombo. Aaron Gordon is expected to start at his natural position tonight, power forward and is expected to receive big time minutes. Gordon has scored 20+ FD points in 3 of his last 4 games. Portland has struggled all year defending and protecting the rim. Without Plumlee in the mix anymore, their interior defense will only soften and I expect this to benefit Vucevic and Gordon.
*Bonus* SAC – Willie Cauley-Stein ($ 3800) – If you’re a SportsGeek regular or follow me on twitter than you saw my write up on the Kings yesterday. WCS has phenomenal match-up tonight against the fast paced Nuggets. Vegas has the total set to 220, which makes it a game we’d like exposure to.
