FanDuel NBA Picks – February 25th

Hey Guys, I’m back again today offering some of my favorite DFS NBA picks for Saturday. What a roller coaster last night was with the late scratch of Kyle Lowry. I hope you were able to catch it and adjust to having a profitable night. My advice for when a player becomes a late scratch, is to first think about the players on his team who will benefit the most. Last night was one the easier late night scrambles we’ve had in a while because Lowry has been late scratched earlier this year. Second is do not blow up your entire line ups, there were locks last night such as Saric, Westbrook, and Butler that didnt need to be adjusted. Those 3 players were also in my cash game building blocks, that I give out via twitter.

Lets get into my favorite plays under 6k today on FanDuel. Kevin Durant has already been ruled out and Lebron James is questionable with an illness. The James news I doubt will break before 5 PM so be prepared to adjust if he is announced out. Now onto my favorite NBA FanDuel Picks under 6k.

Shooting Guard

ORL – Evan Fournier ($ 5500) – The new look Magic were on full display on Thursday getting off to a hot start against the Trailblazers. Scoring nearly 90 points in just 3 quarters, but fell off badly in the fourth scoring only 18 and ended up losing. But what were focused on is the Magic playing smaller and more uptempo without Serge Ibaka. Fournier saw another game of big minutes going for 37, which makes it 30+ minutes in 7 of his last 8 games. The pricing on Fournier is that of a SG that sees 28 minutes, the upside he carries with his above average shot is too much to ignore. He also has paid off this salary in 3 of the last 5 games, going for a 42 point night against the 76ers. The Hawks are struggle to defend opposing wings, and Fournier carrier the floor and ceiling we like to be able to roster in cash and tournaments.

Small Forward

ORL – Terrance Ross ($ 3700) – Lets all enjoy this price while it lasts, because if he has another good game tonight Ross will be newest shooting guard to cost 5K. Ross was immediately injected into the starting 5 for the Orlando Magic, and played in the final minutes of the game as well. Im not sure if Ross had the green light or if Vogel didn’t know how much Terrance Ross likes to shoot. Ross had 17 Field goal attempts and saw 32 minutes on the floor in his first game with the magic. I’ll take that usage and he gets a great match up against Bazemore tonight.

Power Forward

PHI – Dario Saric ($ 5700) – Hey FanDuel you do know that Saric has scored 34+ FD points in four straight, but tonight hes cheaper? Saric was the lock of the night last night being apart of literally every winning cash and tournament line up I saw last night. The first game with the new look 76ers Dario Saric saw 32 minutes, which makes it 3 straight of seeing 30+ minutes. He has been absolutely smashing value lately, and will continue to exceed value with Embiid out. Saric is a lock for me in cash tonight!

CHI – Nikola Mirotic ($ 4000) – Mirotic might of been the best kept secret last night. Everyone including myself was a fan of Bobby Portis last night, but it was Mirotic that stole the show. He played 36 minutes including the overtime period against the suns last night. I do not expect him to see 30+ minutes tonight, but the Cavs like to stretch the floor with their power forwards. Mirotic is much better suited to play outside the paint than Bobby Portis. This is a tournament play only, but if you want to get ownership to a player that is a great pivot off of a more household name, I’m all for it.
