FanDuel NBA Picks – March 14th

Hey Guys, I’m back again offering some of my favorite FanDuel NBA picks for today’s small 5 game slate. Tonight’s slate features the Cavs who are favored by 8 and the Warriors who are favored by 16.5 at home against the 76ers. The slate also features Mr. Triple Double himself Westbrook taking on the DFS friendly Brooklyn Nets.

Last nights set of games were interesting it was an 8 game slate, but we had multiple teams playing that we tend to avoid in daily fantasy. I hope you were able to catch a glimpse of Vince Carters throw back game against the Bucks. Vince didn’t miss a shot from the field going 6-6 from behind the arc, scoring 24 and adding in 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Its official the LA Lakers are in full tank mode allowing their young core of players to get a ridiculous amount of minutes. After a very short stint in the D-League, Zubac made his way back into the rotation for the Lakers. Zubac didn’t take long to impress putting up huge numbers last night in a blowout loss to the Nuggets. Lets get into tonight’s FanDuel NBA picks, tonight ill be giving out my favorite studs and value picks.

STUD PICKS

SF – Lebron James ($11200) – If you’ve read my write up on small slate strategy, one of the main topics is locking in the best players on the slate. Lebron James is in full attack mode right now, with the recent struggles the Cavs are having winning games. James has scored over 55 FD points in 4 out of his last 5 games, including a 60+ point game against these same Pistons last week. Its so no secret Lebron has had to carry more of the weight on his shoulders in the past month due to the Kevin Love injury, along with all the new additions trying to become acclimated. The lack of options at small forward, the 60+ point upside Lebron carries each night, make him my favorite Stud pick of the night.

C – Demarcus Cousins ($9000) – If you would of told me at any point in the 2016-2017 season that Boogie would be 9k or less, I would of asked how did he lose an arm? No, seriously this price is way to cheap for the best big man in the NBA. I understand the growing pains of playing with a new team, in a new city and with all new team mates. Boogie has struggled as of late racking up technicals, fines and really not to many FD points either scoring 15 FD points in his last game and only 27 two games before. This is more for the tournament player, as Nurkic seems to be the more reasonable and salary friendly play at Center tonight. I love Cousins in this spot, with a decreased salary and surely lower ownership then what he truly deserves. Cousins has 60 point upside every time he steps on the floor except now he get to 60FD points he’ll be paying of his salary more 6X value!

VALUE PICKS

SF – Maurice Harkless ($4500) – This isn’t your typical flashy play under 5k, that has the potential for 8x upside on his salary. Harkless is your cheap option for your cash games, because he comes with a pretty high floor and gets around 30+ minutes a night. If you’re a box score watcher then you might be a little afraid of this pick when you see he only scored 5 FD points last game. Do not fear I tell you, before that last game Harkless has scored at least 21 FD points in 7 straight games. There are so many high priced options for tonight’s slate that you’ll need savings, and I think you get a nice return on your investment with Harkless.

PG – Reggie Jackson ($5200) – I almost puked as I wrote Reggie Jackson as one of my value picks, but then I looked at his recent minutes and production. The never ending musical chair between Jackson and Smith looks like recently has been put on hold and Jackson holds the belt. Jackson has seen 30+ minutes in 3 of his last 4 games, and the one time he didn’t, was due to his lack shoot efficiency going 1-8 from the field. The games in which he saw 30+ minutes, Jackson put up 14+ shots in all 3 and scored at least 30 FD points in each contest. One of those 30 point FD games, came against the same Cavaliers team they play tonight. I like Jackson against the Cavaliers who struggle to guard opposing PGs. A nice contrarian game stack would be Jackson – Irving – Lebron – Harris.

As always best of luck tonight guys and hopefully these FanDuel NBA picks help you win some money tonight!
