FanDuel NBA Picks – March 17th

Hey Guys, I’m back again offering some of my favorite FanDuel NBA picks for today’s nice 8 game slate. Happy St. Pattys day to all my loyal readers and followers. If you’re like me you’ll be enjoying tonight’s NBA and NCAA games with a couple pints of cold beer. Its only right you call them pints today, due to it being an international holiday! The stud picks last night hit really well with Jokic producing his 5th triple double of the season. Seriously though, how good will Jokic be in a league devoid of talented big men. Jokic looks like a seasoned veteran, with his post moves and his court vision. This guy is a great passer, not just for a big man.

There are some nice totals on tap for today’s games, the Rockets are visiting the Pelicans and Vegas has the total set at 229 right now. The other two games that have totals in the 220’s are the Orlando Magic visiting the Suns and the Celtics playing in Brooklyn against the Nets.

Lets get into tonight’s FanDuel NBA picks, tonight I’ll be giving out my favorite studs and value picks.

SG – James Harden ($11800) – It shouldn’t surprise anyone to see the MVP candidate in this section of the article. The Rockets once again are involved in the highest implied team total of the night set at 117, but also are playing another team that plays with a high pace. The difference between this game and the game against the Lakers is the Rockets are only 5 point road favorites as opposed to being 17 point home favorites. This means the game should stay competitive throughout, as the potential for a blow out is much lower.

Harden is involved in one the tightest MVP races in a long time against Russel Westbrook who is currently averaging a triple double. Harden’s competitive advantage in this race is his team is currently sitting third in the Western Conference, compared to the Thunder who sit 6th. In his two games against the Pelicans this year, one which was a blow out. The beard is averaging 21 points, 13.5 assist, and 7.5 rebounds per game. I have a hard time seeing Harden scoring under 50 FD points tonight if this game stays close.

SF – Jimmy Butler ($8700) – I know I know, I’ve been burned by Butler as of late as well. He has one nice game in his last four going for 52 FanDuel points. The Bulls are currently sitting one game out of the playoffs with the season winding down. The Bulls are not a team that is willing to tank, so they will be competitive the rest of season, even with Dwade getting announced out for the rest of the year. Jimmy Butler has posted two extremely nice games against the Wizards this year posting a 37 point 8 rebound and 9 assist game followed up by a 20-11-5 game in there most recent match up. Butlers price is much more reasonable now and he only need to score between 40-45 FD points to hit value.

PG – Tyler Ullis ($5400) – Eric Bledsoe to know ones surprise is now shut down for the rest of the season. The suns are going with the youth movement route for the rest of the season, this means a lot of Ullis, Booker, and  BIG SAUCE Williams. Ullis gets a great match up at home tonight against the Magic who are playing on a back to back, where both games are on the road. Tyler Ullis has proven to be one the best value plays as of late and he will soon be priced around 7k, last game with Bledsoe out Ullis went off. The undersized point guard out of Kentucky dropped 38 FD points on 13 points and 13 assists.

As always best of luck tonight guys and hopefully these FanDuel NBA picks help you win some money tonight!
