FanDuel NBA Sleeper Picks for December 2nd

Greetings my fellow NBA DFS fanatics. DFS virtuoso CD Hill is here to give you my highly recommended FanDuel NBA Sleeper Picks. These picks will be from NBA games that take place on Friday, December 2nd, 2016 & that start between the following times: 7:00 PM EST and 10:30 PM EST. If any of my picks help your lineups today, be sure to let me know on my Twitter page @cdhill81 & as always, be sure to keep track of whether or not the players you plan on going with today are expected to suit up in their contests. Also, be sure to keep an eye out for my Bargain Bin Player (usually my cheapest buy) of the Day. This is the player that I consider to be the top value pick and make sure you bookmark this blog for FanDuel NBA Sleeper Picks!

My Picks:

Joel Embiid (ORL@PHI) – (FPPG: 31.5 & Salary: $6,200):

The following write-up on Joel Embiid will mostly be taken from the last write-up I did with him in it since his game against the Kings (which would’ve been his last game) was postponed due to court condensation on Wednesday. Anyway, Joel Embiid had a very nice all-around game in just 25 minutes of action in his last contest on Sunday (against the Cavs) finishing with 22 PTS, 9 REB, 4 AST, 3 BLK and 3 TO (which came out to 41.8 FP). He faces a Magic team next that’s slightly better than mid-tier level in the league in terms of how well they minimize opposing centers’ FPPG averages. Embiid has averaged at least 30 FPPG in half of the games he’s played in this year and that’s with a minutes restriction, so one can only imagine the kind of fantasy numbers he’ll put up once his MPG reach closer to 30. This matchup shouldn’t pose as much of a threat at slowing this pick down today and I expect him to put up his usual 30+ FP later this evening, but I’m actually (more specifically) banking on FP in the mid-to-upper 30’s from this Philly center due to the long layoff now between games for him that I think will put even more pep in his step right now. He’s a solid player to go with in all formats today.

PF – Tobias Harris (DET@ATL) – (FPPG: 26.6 & Salary: $5,700):

Tobias Harris has played at a very high level in his past three games averaging 22 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 2.3 3PMPG and 1 SPG in a notable 37 MPG. He goes up against a Hawks team next that’s been pretty tough overall against opposing PF’s in terms of how many FPPG they’ve let them score this season. However, they haven’t been that much better in that regard than two other teams Harris just faced, so this isn’t looking like a contest that will slow Harris down much later today. This pick is a value play with solid upside who I’d recommend taking in any format later this evening on FanDuel.

S– Jae Crowder (SAC@BOS) – (FPPG: 24.7 & Salary: $5,300):

My FanDuel NBA Sleeper Picks Bargain Bin Player of the Day is Jae Crowder. This Boston forward now has back-to-back-to-back games with at least 30 FP thanks to his solid PPG average in the teens, his almost 3 3PMPG average (2.7) and his contributions in a variety of other stat categories other than blocked shots in that time in a nice volume of minutes of 32 MPG. He goes up against a Kings defense next that’s actually done a pretty formidable job in the way they keep opposing SF’s FPPG down, but with the way Crowder has been playing of late combined with his very appealing salary requirement at the moment, he simply makes it too hard for just about any FanDuel competitor to pass up on him right now. It really wouldn’t be unrealistic to expect another solid FP total from this pick and I consider him an ideal GPP/tourny play at the moment.

Other Sleeper Picks to Consider:

PG: Rajon Rondo, Dennis Schroder, Ish Smith and Jameer Nelson

SG: Zach LaVine, Evan Fournier and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

SF: Andrew WigginsMarcus Morris, Kent Bazemore and Robert Covington

PF: Kenneth FariedTaj Gibson, Ryan Anderson and Larry Nance Jr.

C: Marcin Gortat and Robin Lopez
