NBA Predictions and Free Picks February 9th:
Chicago Bulls @ Indiana Pacers – The Chicago Bulls have rebounded well after a shaky first couple months of the season, clawing their way back into the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference, where they currently sit in 6th spot, 6 spots ahead of the 12th place Pacers. The Bulls have been relatively good ATS all season long, as they are 15-7 ATS in their last 22 games overall. The Bulls have also been an improving road team as the season progresses, going 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games as a road underdog. The underdog is 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings between these two as I look for that trend to continue tonight from Indiana.
Free Pick – BULLS +2 at -110
Houston Rockets @ Miami Heat – The Heat come into tonight’s action slipping in the Eastern Conference, from 5th to 8th, thanks to a current 5-game losing skid. Houston sits at a respectable 27-23 in the Western Conference, but still find themselves out of the playoff picture, sitting in 9th spot. The Heat are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall, and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games vs. the NBA Southwest. The Rockets are also 5-2 ATS in the last 7 games vs. the Heat.
Free Pick – ROCKETS +5 at -110
Atlanta Hawks @ Memphis Grizzlies – The high-flying Atlanta Hawks look to win their 3rd straight tonight as they visit a strong home team that is currently riding a 3-game losing skid. The Grizzlies have good ATS numbers this season, especially against the weaker Eastern Conference. Both teams display their ability to score points on a regular basis as well. OVER is 9-3 in the Grizzlies last 12 after scoring 100+ in their previous game, and 4-1 in the Hawks last 5 games as a favorite. The OVER is also 5-2 in the last 7 meetings between the Hawks and Grizzlies, as I look for a high-scoring affair from Memphis.
Free Pick – OVER 199 at -110
