Eight games in the NBA Monday night. Orlando visiting San Antonio has to be the best game and most competitive when all things are said and done. Coming to viewers at 8:30pm ET tonight at the AT&T Center. Boston @ Hawks is usually a hard fought affair, but without Rondo the C’s may struggle.
NBA Betting Picks for Monday, November 22nd:
Indiana Pacers @ Miami Heat – Indiana has surprised a few this year with their offensive onslaught offered up in a few games this season. But again look to stave off injuries and jump into the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs. In the Pacers most recent losses they have yet to lose by more than ten, which is our spread. Plus Miami isn’t blowing people out and the only one was against the Suns where PHX matched Hedo on Bosh and were without Steve Nash. Dwyane Wade continues to be day-to-day with his sprained wrist. The Pacers starting PG from Rancho Cucamonga, Collison is still trying to get back from a bum-ankle. Udonis Haslem is also out for Miami and will force the bench to pick up the slack as he seems to be the only contributor at the back up power forward spot.
Phoenix Suns VS Houston Rockets – Without Steve Nash the Suns are looking awful and the biggest noticeable difference has been the defense, which can also be attributed to the injury to Center Robin Lopez. Houston has competed hard and are just trying to mesh and flesh out some victories late. I look for Scola and any point guard for the Rockets to carve up the defense for Phoenix. The only chance for the Suns is to get hot from the three, but it usually only happens when Nash is passing with great intent in transition. Suns have lost the last three and the closest was a loss by 16. The same can be said in Houston’s case though they beat New York and Indiana on the road in their last five games played.
Orlando Magic @ San Antonio Spurs – The Spurs have it all rolling on this young season, beating everybody in sight at 11-1. Most thought they would be a playoff team in the middle from fourth to seventh. San Antonio has shown, age is just a number and acquiring Richard Jefferson was a good move and he just needed to get acclimated. Spurs have won their last five by the closest game being a nine point win, which tells a big story of how this team is playing. Orlando is on a four game winning streak, but struggles against the upper echelon of talent in the NBA. Magic can boast wins in this most recent streak against Pacers, Suns, Grizz and Nets.
Kings getting almost a dozen in Utah is worth a look. Denver should do well by a field goal @ G.S. and Hornets are shoe-ins in Clipperville.
