NBA’s Saturday night features Utah visiting Dallas as the marquee game to watch. I’ve included a bonus pick, for those unable to get in on the early game action at 3:30pm ET. Another upwardly mobile team versus a team in decline, Indy visits the A.T.L.
NBA Betting Picks for Saturday, December 11th:
Memphis Grizzlies @ Los Angeles Clippers – With Memphis heading one way and the Clippers in another in their last games, I was thinking of taking the Grizz. But looking at the match up, MEM has the depth and all around team to compete and win, but Blake Griffin is playing outside his mind, dominating the physically ungifted Power Forwards of the NBA. The Clippers have a bunch of nice pieces and with Eric Gordon taking the big shots on offense and routinely making them, this one should go with the red-white and blue. At home L.A. can play well enough to secure our victory and cover.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Houston Rockets – Cleveland is bad and getting worse, I say it once again, until they prove me wrong. This team needs to obtain a heart as this teams soul was crushed when LeBron visited for the first time as the opposition. Losing six consecutive and eight of ten has taken this team completely out of the playoff picture in the East as they will not be able to sustain any level of consistency throughout the very long NBA season. The match up for Houston is great, when LBJ played in Houston, the Rockets stopped him and the Cavs routinely. We are giving up major points, but HOU plays well together and has talent, at least enough to knock off CLE by ten.
Cleveland VS Houston – I thought that I would have a look see at the total and am shocked to see it at over 200. When lower level teams match up it usually stays well under our line and both of these teams samples are a clear indication and neither of these teams possess the offenses to run away with things as jump shooters are easy to adjust to and will milk the clock setting up for late game situations and thus scoring less points. Making every possession key to winning the game.
Indiana Pacers @ Atlanta Hawks – Indiana doesn’t seem like they have enough to beat anybody, but here they are at 11-10 and looking to improve every game and nurse than young guys that are coming into their own. Coach Jim O’Brien has got everyone buying in and it is nice to see Larry Bird and the Pacers organization stay with him as the team struggled. The Hawks do not do well when they are pushed and played by winning teams. Collison and Hibbert are must haves for our endgame stat lines, if they show up and contribute, we should be alright.
