NBA Betting Picks for Monday, December 13th:
Golden State Warriors @ Utah Jazz – The Golden State Warriors will be without Stephen Curry tonight and Utah will miss Raja Bell, a fair and good trade for our pick. Losing in this match up earlier in the year is was an alarming situation for the Jazz and now with Al Jefferson fully acclimated, look for them to take it to the Warriors. Golden State does not have the depth at the wing spots this season, as they made a point of gaining depth at the power forward/center spots after last years debacle, with notable NBDL call ups starting the better part of the season. Look for Dorell Wright and Monta Ellis to get big 40+ minutes and get shots up. They will get their points, but not have great shooting nights, 50% each would be a blessing for State. The Warriors are losers of six straight and have just one win in their last ten games played. GS is just 3-10 on the road and the opposite can be said for Utah at home. Finding their stride and alternating losses, just finishing a hard part of their schedule. At 17-8, this team is still extremely underrated.

Golden State VS Utah – Losing Raja Bell hurts our total prediction, but not the ankle issues associated with having Stephen Curry out is enough to stymie any offense. The final score of the first game, barely went over 160. Reggie Williams is a solid sixth man, but without him coming off of the bench for GSW, they’ll lack the bench scoring they’ve enjoyed this and last season. As shown by the offensive output displayed versus the Miami Heat. Having Monta at the point makes the burden for Deron Williams easier with a big scorer and not so crafty, with a change in the back court, both teams can scheme to play defensively stout.
New Orleans VS Miami – When the Hornets played the Heat previously it was as close to a different team as possible in the NBA. While still searching for a center and CB1 having to find his place and comfort zone with Erik Spoelstra’s offense. They quickly figured it out and came together blasting the Cavaliers in LeBron’s homecoming. New Orleans took it to the Heat and won by just three with career nights from Chris Paul and Emeka Okafor. Say hello to ‘Big Z’ at 7’3″, the shots for the former 2nd overall pick behind D.Howard will be little and ineffective, to say the least. With Miami giving up 11.5, it will be too much to go their way and N.O. is not the same team that rolled over ‘MV3’. The line is not my favorite and line makers must be expecting the same as I.
Indiana getting almost nine in Chi Town. Another friendly line for Milwaukee and Portland in a close one to cover in Nashville. These are my three bonus plays to take a closer look at.
