NBA Picks and Predictions for December 1st

A massive night in the NBA, featuring 12 games on this snow-blown start to December. Is Brandon Roy better for now and ready to take on Boston? Orlando in Chicago should be a fun matchup to watch also. Three for three last night, but we don’t live in the past, so here below are more picks for tonight’s games.

NBA Betting Picks for Wednesday, December 1st:

Washington Wizards @ Toronto Raptors – What Washington accomplished against the Raptors last time out, was genius. Slowing Toronto’s pace, disrupting rhythm and completely taking them out of the game, lulling them to sleep. A ruckus ACC crowd is sure to wake them up and without the likes of Reggie Evans (Injured) and Jarrett Jack (Traded) in this one, the Raptors are sure to make a better effort and I am playing the streak. The Wiz have yet to win a road game this season at 0-8 currently. With the Raptors not knowing who they will start along Bargnani in this one, look for prized rookie Ed Davis to get some minutes off of the bench and breathe some life into the game with Jerryd Bayless and the second unit. With countless injuries and losses in four of five this makeshift team is hitting the T.O. at the wrong time.

Free Pick RAPTORS -4.5 at -105

Milwaukee Bucks @ Denver Nuggets – Melo fell ill Sunday, before the game and removed himself with just over nine minutes left in the first. But as this is Wednesday he should be over the worst of it, I am told. Even still the Nuggets rebounded and posted their highest point total of the season outscoring the Phoenix Suns 138-133. The Nugs have won four straight and the Bucks should have lost seven straight, if only S.Jack wasn’t tossed early in a win over the Bobcats 104-101. Denver is a professional team and will get it done at home against an offensively struggling lineup in Milwaukee. Injuries abound for the Bucks and the NBA knows it, they are still respecting the prowess of the team coached by Scott Skiles though. Look for no letup from a Denver team looking to make some noise in the West.

Free Pick NUGGETS -8.5 at -105

Indiana Pacers VS Utah Jazz – In a game I thought I could project a predicted winner. I am going the other way. With these two stout defenses matching up and the number being set that gives us some room, I feel comfortable in giving forth the total. Both of these teams would have gone under this number their last eight of ten games combined. Both teams are playing well, racking up the wins and continuing to get the game played at their pace. So this one may slow down and make every shot important, thus giving our under. The only issue is the point guard matchup with Collison vs Williams. As both players gamble and do not lock down offenders. The other parts are solid with Hibbert in the middle and Granger on the wing, facing Jefferson and Kirilenko. This is headed to be a stalemate that will be a great game to watch if you love defensive toughness and hard work.

Free Pick – UNDER -198 at -105

Can the Spurs squelch any notion of an upset by the Clippers at Staples Center; they did it to the Hornets. Orlando was great last night at the end finishing off Detroit to make the cover, are they enough in Chicago? The Lakers are only giving six visiting Houston, what gives?
