I can see why NBA schedule makers made this a light night in the National Basketball Association. People are going to be tuned into Cleveland’s game from start to finish seeing what if anything happens, it’s like a car wreck.
NBA Betting Picks for Thursday, December 2nd:
Miami Heat @ Cleveland Cavaliers – Wow talk about home court advantage. When Miami takes the floor tonight, they will be greeted by the most hostile crowd ever witnessed in a regular season game in history. Think I am kidding? See for yourself, if you are going to watch the Miami Heat in one game this year, this would be the time. This may in fact be a perfect gathering point for the Heat. They may look back at this time and see it as a good thing, a bonding moment. Because this is the biggest chance to come together as a team and gel totally with their own national exposure.
Miami only at a shocking 11-8 to this point is the far better team and has the talent of Cleveland’s forgotten son to hold over the Cav’s. Cleveland can’t match it and Coach Byron Scott knows it. Miami has not been winning recently on the road, but LeBron should have some comfort with the court, rims and atmosphere, but will lack in the adrenaline of being cheered on, as per usual. Miami will want to get a big lead early and put the Cavs away and deflect from all of the hoopla. But these fans should help this team fight until the end. I was hoping for a normal line of 10. But having it at fewer than six, made me go the other way.

Phoenix Suns @ Golden State Warriors – Phoenix has beaten the Warriors the last eight of ten meetings. Both of these teams seem to be able to be predicted as a coin flip nightly. Sometimes they can play with the big boys, but when their shots aren’t falling, their defense struggles and continually lets them down. Both of these teams recently matched up against the Houston Rockets and my pick is partly being based on those games. GSW lost by ten to the Rockets and the Suns won by seven. I thought of looking at the total for this game, but currently sitting at 228.5 points to be scored, it is just too much of a gamble both ways. That number will get plays on both sides, but I am not banking on jump shots and bad defense to get me over or under.
