Saturday six-pack, where Miami should be better from here on out and I definitely want to see how Carlos Boozer looks in Chicago. No early games in the NBA, all last night affairs. The picks are rolling and this week has been very kind, so lets keep it going.
NBA Betting Picks for Saturday, December 4th:
Atlanta Hawks @ Miami Heat – With arguably the hardest emotional game now behind them. I believe that we will see more of the Miami Heat we expected, when we first learned the word ‘Decision’ and talents to South Beach. The biggest factor in this game with be the absence of Joe Johnson, who is out six weeks due to injury. Atlanta has won five straight, but it has been in the soft part of their schedule. Which can also be said for the Heat who lost their last competitive game at Dallas. Johnson leads this team in scoring and assists, so you know that they will miss him greatly. This game seems to be a six or seven point win for the Heat. I am hoping for a great effort and no letdown by a team now on a mission, a team that has just gone through a bonding experience and that will punish every team from now on.

Charlotte Bobcats VS Philadelphia 76ers – It took the Bobcats, overtime to hit 91 points, for a total of 175 in their last game. In a loss for the Sixers the total was just 181. I know we should be safe with a lower total, but still giving us enough room to feel good about the pick. 3/10 for these teams have gone over this number and I take comfort in the fact that these teams slow it down even more when they have a full lineup and encompass their lower level stars. With the oft injured Power Forward Elton Brand leading the team in scoring with just 15.9 ppg, Andre Iguodala should be embarrassed, his numbers aren’t bad, but this team needs him to be the go to guy and he has proven to be a great second-fiddle and nothing more. The trouble is they have a #2 in A.I. a three in EB and no number one!
Houston Rockets @ Chicago Bulls – I wanted so much to take the Houston Rockets in this match up. I just couldn’t do it and having Carlos Boozer back makes Houston more appealing as of now with me not seeing him play this year. Chicago is a good home team and they will acclimate Boozer into the team and they will do well I feel and make noise in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Chicago has lost their last two against steep competition. Houston just beat the Lakers and Memphis in back to back games. Showing that they can play with anybody when things are rolling well for a night. The Bulls are perfectly matched to dismantle the Rockets. Rose has the size on Lowry, Bogans is in to defend Martin at the two and Deng offers more offensive punch at the three spot. Size up front for CHI with Noah going against Chuck Hayes if they start him at center and Scola versus Boozer should be a wash in the end.
Cleveland had a chance to rally as a team and they didn’t finding themselves try to pick it up on the road against Minnesota. Milwaukee to touch up the ailing Magic as no show can make Orlando healthy after one night.
