Wednesday night in the NBA offers a few good match ups of the ten. Including but not limited to the Phoenix Suns taking on the Miami Heat and the game mentioned below in the Mavericks and Hornets game with these two teams having such recent history.
NBA Betting Picks for Wednesday, November 17th:
Dallas Mavericks @ New Orleans Hornets – Dallas is 3-0 on the road and New Orleans is 5-0 at home, so the undefeated streak for one of these teams has got to give. The Mavericks just ended the Hornets 8-0 start with a three-point victory in Dallas. When ‘D’ had a similar scenario when facing Denver they won the first and lost the second to the Nuggets. In the previous game against each other, Dallas took the game and beat NOW by ten in the fourth. New Orleans players West and Emeka Okafor had tough offensive nights and all the big hitters for Dallas were on, come the end of the game. I see a similar final and with the line giving us points I am taking the Mavs.
New York Knicks @ Sacramento Kings – The Knickerbockers heard what Amare Stoudemire was saying when he questioned their lack of a winning mentality. Amare picked up his scoring and Danilo Gallinari and Ronny Turiaf helped with the rebounds but it still wasn’t enough to stop the Nuggets dunking all over the Knicks and taking their tested match up last night versus Denver. Last year New York could not muster a victory from the Sacramento Kings. I thought at first glance that NYK would be my pick after their newly found enthusiasm. These two teams have not won a game in their last five each equally an atrocious 0-10 clip presently. Both of these teams have shown that they can win when they show up, it just doesn’t happen every night. The Kings are well rested and New York catching their breath after visiting Denver.
LA Clippers @ Minnesota Timberwolves – Minnesota has played well at home and secured a .500 record at 2-2. The Clippers have their only win at 1-10 at home. The ‘Clip Show’ was just beaten by 14 at New Jersey. I assume this one will take the same route and if at all it remains close that the Wolves will win by six. The T-Wolves are losing on the road and staying very close and they just do not possess that finisher yet. Michael Beasley has it, but is best at serving as a second –fiddle rather than trying to play batman. The Miami Heat made the playoffs with Dwyane Wade and Beasley hitting his shots in spots to help solidify their offensive game. D-Wade is not in Minnesota and there is no one there to step up. But the Clippers are a mess and who knows why when Blake Griffin steps on the floor, he is a game changer, but with BD he is to, for the other team.
