NBA Picks and Predictions for November 23rd

Six games tonight and a contrast in styles throughout the schedule in the NBA. Indy is better than we thought and is worth watching as they continue to improve. A vast dissolution of talent when looking at the Cats and Knicks tonight. I am most looking forward to the late night affair between the red Bulls and the phone call answering yellow Lakers.

NBA Betting Picks for Tuesday, November 23rd:

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Indiana Pacers – With the Pacers predicted win last night in Miami, the Pacers should be doing real well and not have any ill effects in this one, for it being a back-to-back. The Cavaliers lost by two touchdowns on the 13th of November to Indiana in Cleveland. Danny Granger went off for 34 in their meeting and is always amped to play the Cavs and now sans LeBron James. Mo Williams should be playing and in this one the Cavs should get a similar effort. If the bench picks up the first team again they will still struggle to hit ninety, vice versa. Cleveland’s leading scorer is Mo Williams with 15 ppg which is a glaring stat that cannot be ignored. Indiana has been alternating wins this year, but I look for them to follow-up with another great basketball display.

Charlotte Bobcats @ New York Knicks – The Knicks at 6-8 have struggled immensely at Madison Square Garden going a surprising 1-4. New York just finished one of the best road trips in recent memory, barely losing at Denver and are now on a three-game win streak. Beating lower level teams by a lowest mark of six. Charlotte this year travels well and NY lost its last home game to Houston on the 14th by eight. This one features a very different contrast of styles. New York is offensive and takes many bad shots and plays poorish defense, except in the middle with Turiaf now inserted with Amare Stoudemire. But with Fields and Gallinari now starting on the wings, opposing defenses are carving them up at will. That is worrisome with Charlotte’s scorers both at the 2-3 spots. S.Jack is averaging 20 ppg and Gerald Wallace is right behind with 17 and also leading the team with eight rebounds. Wilson Chandler may go off and in two previous meetings Jackson’s line has been diminished and the New York Knicks won both by four.

Chicago Bulls @ Los Angeles Lakers – The Lakers and Bulls are rolling, L.A. has won four straight and Chicagoans have enjoyed winning five of six. The Bulls are just 2-3 on the road this year and facing a Lakers squad in which they have dropped six straight to. So all the defensive talk that they can stop this high powered offense may just be for seasoning and trying to make this a game. This Bulls team will be different and may be uncontrollable in the end, as they were my pick to come out of the East. But waiting on the ‘Booze’ is the state they are in currently. Taj Gibson is a nice player and can give CHI a good amount of Carlos’ contributions but he is closer to a 60% PF as of now for the Bulls of what they are expecting. The Lakers are showing their depth nightly and contributions from just one bench player will get them wins more easily than ever before.

Free Pick – LAKERS -8 at -105

Added the Lakers as my third pick and could not find any other good match up to offer up. Home favorites of varying degrees offered for this Tuesday night in the NBA.
