Friday has a hotly contested dirty dozen amount of games with multiple match ups that will curve the appetite of any NBA basketball fan. In my picks today, I’ve gone with no easy choices, ending up all in the West and all should be in the 2010/11 playoff picture.
NBA Betting Picks for Friday, November 26th:
Dallas Mavericks @ San Antonio Spurs – The Spurs are rolling and continue to dominate at home. Facing Dallas is no easy win, even though they knocked out the Mavericks in the playoffs last season. Both of these clubs have played the Chicago Bulls and had mixed results. S.A. beat them at home by nine, whereas the Mavs lost at home in a closely contested 88-83 loss. With the Spurs they will do what it takes to win and now that they have multiple pieces and are not just relying on Tim Duncan to take it on the blocks, they have succeeded with depth and health. As we have found out the bigger spreads are not the right spots to take the Spurs. They will win right now, but by beating these teams in the end. They exhaust energy only when need be, as in veteran teams do at times.

Chicago Bulls @ Denver Nuggets – I honestly wouldn’t dream of taking the Nuggets in a game against the Bulls, but the home court advantage they possess is something I cannot throw away in this match up. At 5-1 at home they still maintain a dominant pace at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Still being on their ‘circus road trip’ the Bulls have yet to post a winning record in recent years past and haven’t swept a season series from the Nuggets since the Michael Jordan era. Taj Gibson may be out and it could be detrimental to Chicago spacing the floor. Chicago has struggled when facing the top teams in the NBA and especially on the road. Depending upon Derrick Rose to deliver them the victory, but as he wears down by the end of the game and is unable to finish the opponent off completely the Bulls falter, as seen on this trip in the Lakers and Spurs games. Melo is still firing for this team at 25 points a game and until I see more of an unwillingness to help his team, I won’t fully abandon this Denver group.

Los Angeles Lakers @ Utah Jazz – The Lakers may have a similar record to the New Orleans Hornets, but the Utah Jazz are soon to find out that the Lakers are a completely different monster. The Jazz have lost three games at the EnergySolutions Arena this year and all have come at the hands of playoff teams, last year. The Lakers have knocked out the Jazz from the playoffs the last three seasons, so as I am talking in three’s I expect that L.A. will win by three. The Lakers continue to get it done and are still around as the talented ‘MV3′ in South Beach are quickly dwindling their Eastern crown away. Three indicators of a Lakers victory 1- Can’t stop Kobe or Pau (proven) 2- Able to stymie Deron Williams’ offense and 3- The Lakers bench verse the Jazz bench is unquestionably a game changer!

Toronto is rolling can they cover the ten in Boston? Also New Orleans is better than we thought, can they bring the offense together in time to visit Portland?
