Eight games in the NBA this Saturday, with an early one tipping just after 1:00pm ET, Hawks at Madison Square Garden. Last night was the best match ups of the week and tonight they’re but a few. I am keeping my eye on the Miami Heat visiting Dallas, with Miami losing with regularity the sizzle and hoopla has rubbed off. So to still get pumped for a Heat game is a good thing, especially after next weeks visit to Cleveland for Mr.Akron and co.
NBA Betting Picks for Saturday, November 27th:
Charlotte Bobcats @ Milwaukee Bucks – Milwaukee is struggling very badly and has lost five straight. Including match ups to Philadelphia, Cleveland and last night at Detroit. Is Carlos Delfino the vacant MVP for the Bucks? The Bobcats have not played well at the Bradley Center and look to pick off a team that is reeling and in desperate need for a win. But if you have seen Milwaukee, this team is not playing well, averaging an NBA low 90.5 ppg. A strong defensive club along the lines of Charlotte, is not a good match up presently, but may do well in the end if they can keep it close in a high seventies, low eighties game.
Memphis Grizzlies @ Cleveland Cavaliers – With all the fans and team gearing up for a showdown with the Miami Heat and LeBron James, this one might fall under the radar. Memphis matches up well against the Cavs. They are rolling coming into this one, on a three game win streak and getting nightly contributions from everyone on their roster. With Rudy Gay showing off on the grand stage, in hitting the game winner against Miami in LeBron’s face, there is no stopping this team, unless they do it themselves, as per usual. The Cavs are 1-4 in their last five and that win came at home versus a bad team in Milwaukee right now, by two. The lineups across the board favor the Grizzlies; the only edge could go to the point guards, but with Mo Williams being hit or miss these days the Grizz should show their dominance in this one.
New Jersey Nets @ Philadelphia 76ers – New Jersey looks to beat its win total from last year before the New Year, but is still not saying much. If the Sixers could just dump Elton Brand and Andre Iguodala, this team could be considered an up an coming team, instead those two continue to rack up the losses and stymie the maturity of youngsters, due to lack of minutes and no leadership offered. Through a massive game by Shaq the Nets lost in Boston in their last game. They were in it to win it and came up just short. It seems all the losing streaks are stopped by one team and that is the Bucks, Philadelphia is 1-4 in their last five and their last win came at the hands of you guessed it, the Milwaukee Bucks. The Nets are more talented and are bonding more so now than ever; with Avery Johnson calling them out, it only will help them in the long run. Swingman Terrence Williams was sent to the NBDL, for disciplinary actions for sure and this team should perform better, but how does that help the underachieving bench?
After taking good picks going into last night and them all doing well and leading until the late 3rd quarters, the luck ran out. Statistics and instincts could not save it, lady-luck took them. Bet well and bet often, tomorrow is another day, with games on the schedule. Unable to procure a line for the Chicago/Sac game, worth a look if the line is below nine, Chi-Town is legit.
