Tuesday night offers a mixed bag in the NBA. With some major mismatches and some minor underachievers listed below. The game of the day seems to be Utah visiting Miami as both expect big things this season and their coaches will not stop working until they accomplish them.
November 9th (Tuesday) Free NBA Picks:
New York Knicks @ Milwaukee Bucks – The big question in this one is the health of Andrew Bogut and Carlos Delfino who have been nursing a nagging injury and a head issue. So all signs point to them being available which makes my pick go the other way. At a surprisingly bad 2-5 the Bucks need to beat the teams they should and have thus far. New York as in years past looks great when the shots are falling and bad when they are not. I feel a deal in the works as they need another proven piece along side of Amare to compete. Without an add they will finish with 35 wins, I am sure, but is that enough to get the eighth spot in the East? The difference between these clubs, MIL lost to the Hornets at home and NYK lost to Philadelphia in their last outing. A detail that I cannot disregard for this pick.
Denver Nuggets @ Indiana Pacers – The Pacers have not beaten a good team this year and will struggle to beat the Nuggets. They have what it takes to stay with Denver but in Nene returning and Carmelo Anthony putting himself on the line for his team, they are not leaving anything after the games end. I took them plus three last night and they barely lost by two. So we got the lucky cover, but they are losing these games at the end. A fact that shouldn’t hinder them against the Pacers. Denver would have won their last five if it weren’t for missing two good chances at the ends to two previous games. A combined three points in between the losses. The air is nice for DN and they shouldn’t have any ill-effects in this back-to-back game, only the stinging of losing another one they could have won.
Cleveland Cavaliers @ New Jersey Nets – In both these clubs previous games when they keep it close and are in it, they score and give up over 100 points. I am betting that these teams will not run away from one another and stay close enough to go well over. But if they struggle and show how bad they actually are, look out. We will need some luck like we received in picking last night. Cleveland has the better team, unquestioned as they would be a superstar away from competing, but sans that player, it isn’t pretty. In New Jersey we’ve got a continuation of added youth and talent. The Nets just need someone to show that they can play with the big boys and show up every night.
After all the luck we received last night in making the covers I feel confident in tonight’s picks. Also the spreads are getting high with these home favorites, I’d take a look at the Hornets, Blazers and Lakers tonight if you are willing to pull the trigger on some monster lines. Happy gambling and we love to hear from you thanks for reading.
