Wednesday has ten games tipping with the first off at 7:00pm ET and the late show with Minny-Sac at ten. Utah and the Magic game deserves a look see as the only marquee match up for this midweek affair. My standard three picks below, followed by a bonus one as we go on hiatus until the 17th of November (vacation time!).
NBA Betting Picks for Wednesday, November 10th:
Milwaukee Bucks @ Atlanta Hawks – I took the Bucks yesterday and they really showed that with Andrew Bogut they can really compete as they ended it in the 1st Q. Putting up a 41-19 score line on the Knicks! Unlike Miami last night Milwaukee held the lead and actually added another five points to win it 107-80. Andrew only had to play 25 minutes and looks to take on a more testing opponent and play deeper into the game. Everyone on the Bucks played well against New York and didn’t play a lot of hard minutes, so you can look for a fresh and firing squad. The Hawks are a talented team but have tripped up losing two in a row in the end of games. Without injured Forward Marvin Williams they are missing an element not figured to be important.
Charlotte Bobcats @ Toronto Raptors – Between these two struggling clubs both at 1-6, they can only boast a two point win @ New Jersey as the last victory in the last ten combined! Perhaps these clubs should have let the deal for Diaw, Chandler to Toronto for Calderon and Evans go through. Good job Michael Jordan aka Mr. Kai-bosh! In the last hours of the deal being consummated, MJ said no-go to Colangelo. The Bobcats are staying close in their losses but the Raptors cannot muster a 48 minute effort. But the home court advantage in this match up is too much to let pass by. The effects of “White Vegas” may be enough of an edge in this one. Thanks for clarifying the advantage, Jason Whitlock.
Houston Rockets @ Washington Wizards – Houston’s biggest issue is at Point-Guard with the injuries to not just Kyle Lowry but Aaron Brooks also. The injuries saved Jermaine Taylor’s Rockets career as they were all set to sign Erick Dampier to add some insurance for Yao, when the injuries happened. So it will be a whole team effort making up for it. But they have the combo-guards to not make it an issue with the handling skills of Kevin Martin and Courtney Lee and adequate performances by Ishmael Smith. Houston wanted a win their last time out and took it to the Minnesota Timber wolves. The Wizards are fun to watch in a highlight pack but do not yet offer any substance as John Wall offers a great fast break finish and JaVale McGee has a rim-rattling dunk or shot block nightly. But they end up losing and it shows at 1-4.
In an extra pick, look into the Nets @ Cavs with Cleveland in a home and home with New Jersey. The Cavs looked decent but missed a lot of shots and none worse than Mo Williams who will have a much better game in this one. Though sweeping back-to-back games against the same team is tough, this one is do-able!
