NBA offering up a great night and most are new burgeoning rivalries, amidst a myriad of challenging matchups laced throughout tonight’s schedule.
NBA Betting Picks for Tuesday, November 30th:
New Jersey Nets VS New York Knicks – In the battle of newness, does New York have the home court advantage? At 9-9, they are just 2-5 at home. New Jersey has struggled on the road and can boast a .500 record at home, defeating Portland and Atlanta in their last two games at home. But than you look at their last game away and they were beaten badly by a terrible Philadelphia squad. So I had first thought this one may be hard to predict and should come down to a last second shot, making NYK a tough bet at -4.5, so I’ve decided to take the total. When the Knickerbockers play at home, they are more inclined to just run up the points and try to outscore their opponents. As shown by dropping 110 on the Bobcats. Against defensive clubs both of these teams are on average missing the 100 point mark. New Jersey is not strong defensively and NY, is well forget about them stopping anybody.

Detroit Pistons @ Orlando Magic – The question of the Orlando Magic winning this matchup is not in question it seems. The fear is the 10.5 points needed to cover against the Pistons. Although the Magic are around that number in their last five, they seem to be beating the bad teams by nine. In their last home contest they defeated the Cavaliers 111-100, which would just cover our number. Detroit is not playing well and better figure things out and make some moves so they can supplant themselves into the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference, if that is in fact their goal. At the Palace they are beating the bottom feeders, but that will not be enough as the schedule begins to harden. Dwight Howard, when he is not defended well, will be a menace on the boards and can an aging Ben Wallace stay with him enough to lighten the impact? I am guessing not and Orlando will get countless second chance points and rule.
Free Pick MAGIC -10.5 at -105
Indiana Pacers @ Sacramento Kings – The Pacers are winning with great pride and are just coming off of their first ever victory visiting the Lakers at the Staples Center. Playing very well as the roadie, Indy is 4-2 away from Conseco and is doing it with defense, which is a stroke of genius as teams come in expecting the Pacers to score. They are the holders of the best quarter this year, hitting 20 of 21 shots in a past third Q. The Kings were believed to be up an comers this season, but now have all but folded the tent. Lackadaisical play from Tyreke Evans, notable removals from the starting lineups and young and old under producing nightly, is Paul Westphal really the right guy to lead this ship? I am a huge fan of his, but the team is not responding and is looking like they are getting worse at times. In Indiana’s last two home games they have knocked off both contenders believed to meet in the finals for the NBA crown. Beating Miami in South Beach by 16 and holding them to only 77 points scored.
Free Pick – PACERS -4 at -105
Not exactly liking any other games, but the San Antonio Spurs are looking to start another streak by visiting the Golden State Warriors.
