Friday’s 12 game schedule contains some great NBA match ups including the Heat @ Hornets game and who is surprised that New Orleans is the undefeated squad? Late action offers the Jazz versus the Warriors and in this one we can see if Golden State is for real. Do you know that they have a 30 point scorer and two 20-pt scorers on average this year? A conflict of styles for sure will bump heads and the other late-late game is the Raptors @ LA Lakers and some close to me have predicted Kobe to drop 81, again! Which I quickly shrug off as a Toronto fan, plus Bargnani averages more than Gasol so far this year, so maybe not confident enough to predict, but don’t loathe it at +13.5 for Toronto.
November 5th NBA Picks Against the Spread:
Washington Wizards @ New York Knicks – With a big win against the Bulls last night and their tough schedule taking them to a nice 2-2 record. We will see if this team has turned over a new leaf and will make the playoffs in the 8th spot come year end. Washington could only muster a one point win at home versus the Sixers for their only win in three. Knickerbockers shots were falling so everyone got three’s against Chicago. Look for the Knicks to hopefully tighten up the D. and give a good effort tonight.
Free Pick – KNICKS -5.5 at -105
Charlotte Bobcats @ Detroit Pistons – Both these teams are better than we think as both their records attribute them to the bottom of the ranks. Detroit plays CHA tough at home, but the Bobcats are getting the edge from me in this one. Defeating New Jersey at home lastly, shows they can close a game out, albeit against a bottom feeder. Detroit has played against only playoff teams thus far and will look to test the Cats when they can, but is it more empty points than substance? I think Detroit has more talent, but Charlotte is more of a team now and emphatically winning as they are unquestionably mentally tougher.
Free Pick – BOBCATS +1 at -105
Miami Heat @ New Orleans Hornets – The Hornets are rolling, but the Heat are dominating, the difference? Miami is beating opponents by at least ten or more, while none of New Orleans 4-0 record has come by more than nine! The team playing this way is keeping Chris Paul in the Hornets plans, but with ‘MV3’ in town he will be asked and could become a distraction if his team gets down early and he may relent and quit on his team. Check for this and for all the defensive fans, in fact any NBA fans will love this match up as nothing will be easy in this one and it will show the difference between the Superstars with the (Extra) and the others possessing just the ordinary type of game.
Free Pick – HEAT -6.5 at -105
Some other picks and games I think you should look into are the Hawks, Memphis and Nugs. Also take a look see at the total in the Utah/ GSW game. Money to be had tonight, so pick your spots as the NBA lines are ripe, so keep digging.
