|Teams||Spread||Money Line||Total Points|
|Washington Wizards||+7 (-115)||+220||O 228½ (-110)|
|Los Angeles Lakers||-7 (-105)||-270||U 228½ (-110)|
The 10-17 Wizards remain out on the road on a West Coast swing to play the 22-9 Lakers in Los Angeles on Monday night. Washington has won four games in a row, including a 118-111 win in Portland on Saturday night. Los Angeles has lost two in a row inside the Staples Center, most recently a 96-94 loss to the Heat on Saturday. The Lakers shot 39 percent in that matchup, and LeBron James shot a season-low 33 percent from the field.
Bradley Beal has been phenomenal for the Wizards this season, leading the NBA in scoring with 32.9 points per game. Offseason acquisition Russell Westbrook has found his groove after a bit of a slow start and is now averaging 19.3 points, 9.7 assists, and 9.5 rebounds per game.
The Lakers are without star Anthony Davis (Achilles) and Dennis Schroder (COVID-19 protocols). James, Kyle Kuzma and Markieff Morris are all listed as probable for Monday night’s game. Assuming they will all be suiting up, the majority of the workload will fall as usual on James.
