Arkansas vs. Missouri – CFB Week 14

Week 14 of the 2014 college football season continues an exciting Rivalry Week with a Friday afternoon game (2:30 pm ET) that could go a long way toward determining the direction of two SEC programs that are looking to establish themselves in what many consider the toughest conference in the country.  The Arkansas Razorbacks (6-5) travel to Memorial Stadium at Faurot Field in Columbia, Mo to take on the host and 17th ranked Missouri Tigers (9-2) in an SEC late season tilt. Arkansas rolled to a 30-0 win over an Ole Miss team that had been ranked in the top-10 nationally most of the season Their second straight impressive SEC win after a 17-0 shutout win over LSU the previous week which was head coach Bret Bielema’s first conference win. Missouri has won 5 games in a row since a 34-0 week 6 loss to Georgia, defeating Tennessee 29-21 on the road last week. The Tigers’ other loss was a 31-27 upset loss at home to Indian in week 4.

Arkansas is ranked 36th nationally in scoring offense with an average of 33.6 points per game and 52nd among FBS teams in total offense with 421.7 yards per contest. The Razorbacks rank 16th nationally in points allowed with 20.2 per game and 24th in total defense 338.4 YPG allowed.
