TCU and Boise State, both undefeated teams, got their wish to be in a BCS bowl game. The third ranked Horned Frogs and the number six ranked Broncos faceoff for the second consecutive postseason at the Fiesta Bowl on January 4th. Other than the national championship, this will be the first time ever that two unbeaten teams will play each other in a BCS bowl game. The Broncos are looking for revenge after blowing a fourth quarter lead last year to TCU, resulting in a 17-16 loss. TCU had a much easier way to the BCS unlike its competitors with number four Cincinnati coming back from a 21-point deficit to beat Pittsburgh and Texas pulling off a last minute 13-12 win over Nebraska. The Horned Frogs have a good case for playing in the national championship – they have blown out each of their last six opponents including wins over BYU and Utah by a combined 58 points. A more impressive statistic, each of the Horned Frogs last seven wins were by a margin of at least 27 points. They are looking to finish the season undefeated for the first time since their 1938 season, where they won the Associated Press national title. Boise State beat eventual Pac-10 champion Oregon 19-8 in the opening game of the season but have not beat another Top 25 team as their schedule was not particularly challenging. Listed below are your betting lines, odds and my personal prediction for this Boise State vs TCU bowl game.

Marco’s Boise State vs TCU Prediction:
Final Score Prediction – Boise St 33 TCU 30
Spread Prediction- Take Boise State to beat this 7 point spread. Although they have had a soft schedule, this team can play ball. Led by the nations number one passer in quarterback Kellen Moore and a strong offensive line that has given up only five sacks all year, Boise will seek revenge from their loss last year. The last time Moore didn’t throw a TD pass it was against TCU and you can bet he will be hungry to prove his team is worthy of this BCS berth.
Over/Under – Last year when the teams met they combined for 33 points. This won’t be enough to win this game. Boise State led the country with 44.2 points per game and ranked eight in total offense, averaging 460.5 yards. TCU ranked fourth in both categories with 40.7 points per game and 478 yards per game. This game will have some fireworks, expect a wild one and take the OVER 54 points.
