Sunday Football Week One NFL game features the Atlanta Falcons and the Pittsburgh Steelers. This game will take place at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA. Game time for the Falcons vs Steelers Week One matchup is set for 1:00 pm EST and is sure to be a Defense versus Offensive game. Mike Tomlin looks to get his team to rally behind Dennis Dixon and Atlanta looks to take advantage of the shifted Steelers.
The Atlanta Falcons have their franchise player in Matt Ryan at QB. He looks to take care of the ball this year and get his interception number to single digits. Michael ‘ Burner’ Turner averaging almost 5 yards per/carry and 10 touchdowns last year, ran around at will with the aerial attack offered by wideout Roddy White and the ageless one on the end in Tony Gonzalez. Pittsburgh had just under 100 yards less in allowed defense and over 50 yards more on offense with their averages from last season.
Pittsburgh are down to two signal-callers under center. Not by choice as Dennis Dixon and Charlie Batch remain with both other proposed starters being inactive due to being injured or suspended. The only weapon that the Steelers can hold over the Falcons head is a healthy defensive stopper in Troy Polamalu. Will it be enough as Atlanta has the edge at Quarterback, Running back and in the receiving corps.

Falcons vs Steelers Predictions for Betting Week 1 Game:
Over Under Prediction (TOP PLAY) – Perfect betting on my totals during the preseason and I like this play, but with Dennis Dixon at QB it could be a high or very low scoring game. I am banking on the Falcons continuing how they finished last season, scoring at will and stuffing the opponent defensively. TOP PLAY PREDICTION – UNDER -38
Spread Prediction – I can usually count on Pitt. but I am just not seeing the offense to handle the onslaught of talent the Falcons have and they will put points on them and the only hesitation is that it’s a road game. PREDICTION – FALCONS COVER -1.5
