Green Bay Packers Super Bowl Odds and Predictions for 2010/2011 Season

The Green Bay Packers come into the 2010 – 2011 NFL season with high expectations. Green Bay not only feels they can over take Minnesota atop the NFC North, but they also feel they have a shot to win the whole thing this season. Aaron Rodgers returns this season, and is getting pre-season discussion on maybe garnering his first MVP award of his career. The third year quarterback threw for over 4400 yards last season, along with 30 touchdowns.

Green Bay made the postseason, only to lose in a barnburner against the NFC West champion Arizona Cardinals. The Packers offense ranked 7th in the NFL with 261 passing yards, and 14th in rushing, with 117 yards. Defensively Green Bay was solid most of the year, allowing just 83 rushing yards per game, best in the NFL.

Green Bay will have a tough time against divisional foes Minnesota, Chicago and even Detroit; playing them twice during the season. Outside of those games, the Packers will play at Philadelphia in the opening week; then host Buffalo. The Packers will play at Washington, with Miami, @ New York Jets, with Dallas, @ Atlanta, with San Francisco, @ New England and with New York Giants. Packers Super Bowl Odds

Green Bay Packers Betting Odds for 2011 Super Bowl

The Green Bay Packers are certainly a sexy pick to not only win the division, but also the entire NFC, and possibly even the Super Bowl. And Vegas and the sportsbooks have noticed this, putting the Packers odds amongst the elite in the NFL.

Green Bay is picked by as one of three teams with the best chance to win the NFC, as they are listed at +350 odds to capture the NFC Championship along with Dallas and New Orleans.

To win the Superbowl, has Green Bay listed at +800 odds, which, again is tied with Dallas and New Orleans, and just barely below the AFC favorite Indianapolis Colts.

Green Bay Packers 2010/2011 Predictions

The crazies in Wisconsin are rabid once again, and for the first time since the exit of Brett Favre, the Packers legitimately have a chance to get back to the Super Bowl.

If the Vikings are without Favre this year the Packers will be favorites to come out of the NFC North on top. Favre’s decision, which may come later today, will of course affect the odds listed on the Vikings and the Packers, but I think either way the Packers do have a solid chance of making it far in the NFC.

I would advise you to wait until Favre makes his decision (which is that he will likely play when his ankle heals) and then make your wager on the Packers to win the NFC or even the Super Bowl. Bet it at and receive a $250 Free Money Bonus!
