New Orleans 2011 Super Bowl Odds and Predictions for Betting

The defending Super Bowl champs are back for more in 2010. After having the top offense in 2009, the Saints will welcome quarterback Drew Brees back behind center. Brees threw for 4388 yards and 34 touchdowns. Marques Colston caught 9 touchdown passes and amassed over 1000 receiving yards for the Saints. New Orleans ground game picked up over 130 yards per game, with Pierre Thomas and Mike Bell sharing the load.

The Saints play in the NFC South with Atlanta, Tampa Bay and Carolina. It appears the Saints should once again be the favorite to win the division. Atlanta still has plenty of fire power with Matt Ryan, Michael Turner and Roddy White, while Carolina’s two headed running back monster will be a force to deal with at times. Tampa Bay is an up and coming team with head coach Raheem Morris. In saying all of that, the Saints still appear to be the leader of the pack.

Outside of playing divisional foes twice a year, the Saints will also see some stiff tests from outside their division. After starting the season with a home game against the Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans will play at NFC West favorite San Francisco. New Orleans will also play at Arizona, host Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Seattle, play at Dallas and Cincinnati, host St. Louis and visit Baltimore.

New Orleans Saints NFC Champions Betting Odds:

New Orleans, while the favorite in the South division, will face many tough tests in the NFC. New Orleans Saints 2010/2011 Predictions:

As good as the Saints are, be careful putting large amounts of money on them. We have seen in the past, it is VERY difficult to repeat in the National Football League. While it certainly isn’t impossible – it is difficult. Drew Brees had a sensational season in 2009, and while he is very good, look for defenses to have a better grasp on how to handle the Saints play caller. In what may prove to be very wrong in February, I suggest you stay away from betting on the New Orleans Saints to win the NFC, or the Super Bowl at the odds given.  If you do want to bet on the Saints, do it at where you will receive great futures odds for the NFL.
