Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Odds and Predictions 2010/2011

The Philadelphia Eagles will have a face-lift of sorts for the 2010 – 2011 season. Instead of the reliable Donovan McNabb behind center, Kevin Kolb will now take the snaps for the Eagles. Also, Brian Westbrook will no longer be the team running back, as LeSean McCoy looks to take the reign.

The Eagles finished last season 11-5; tied with the Cowboys at the top of the NFC East. Kolb saw some action in place of McNabb, finishing the season with 741 passing yards and 4 touchdown passes. DeSean Jackson was the leading receiver for Philadelphia, catching 62 passes, for over 1100 yards, and 9 touchdowns. Tight end Brent Celek also caught 8 touchdown passes.

The Eagles will take on Dallas, Washington and New York (Giants) twice during the season. Outside of those divisional games; the Eagles will start the season with a tough home game against the Green Bay Packers. The next two non-divisional games are at Jacksonville and San Francisco. The Eagles then host Atlanta, play at Tennessee, with Indianapolis, at Chicago, with Houston and with Minnesota.

Philadelphia Eagles 2010/2011 Predictions

The Philadelphia Eagles are not given much consideration from the odds makers to have a big year in 2010 – 2011, and my prediction on the Philadelphia Eagles is much of the same. Coach Andy Reid and the rest of the crew will certainly miss Donovan McNabb. His mobility, along with arm will be much needed, as Kolb will have a struggle. DeSean Jackson is an absolute stud for the Eagles, but will be placed irrelevant, if he cannot get the ball.

My Philadelphia Eagles prediction: do not waste your money on them; they will have a tough time competing in their division which includes one of the Super Bowl favorites Dallas Cowboys and another top NFC team in the New York Giants.
