$500K Bet on Bills to Cover the Spread is Biggest Week 4 Bet at Online Sportsbook

Buffalo Bills And NFL Background

  • Caesars Sportsbook reported taking five six-figure bets ahead of Sunday’s Week 4 NFL games.
  • The biggest bet is a $500K ticket on the Buffalo Bills to cover a 16.5 point spread against the Houston Texans.
  • A $362,500 wager on the 49ers -145 Moneyline against the Texans and a $300,000 bet on the Jets to cover a 7-point spread against the Titans are the next largest bets received at the said betting site.

With NFL Sunday just a couple of nights of sleep away, the big bets have started coming in at the best NFL sportsbooks.

Caesars Sportsbook was the first betting site to report its “Bet Like a Caesar” wagers and according to the site, it has taken five six-figure bets, including a $500K bet on the team with the largest spread to cover.

Biggest Bet of the Week, Largest Spread of the Week

The Buffalo Bills enter their Week 4 assignment on a roll. After getting upset by the Pittsburgh Steelers as 6.5 point betting favorites, the Bills have massacred their next two opponents. First, Buffalo blanked the Dolphins 35-0 in Miami, and then last week, they routed the Washington Football Team 43-21.

Buffalo is 10-2 SU in their last 12 games against teams with a losing record. They are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games played overall, and 7-2 in their last nine games as betting favorites. They have also won their last two games with an average winning margin of 28.5 points. The current spread at Caesars is -16.5 points, which is the largest Week 4 spread.

Although Houston is just 1-2 SU, they are 2-1 ATS this season. The Texans covered the 12.5 points spread against the Browns last week, losing by just 10 points. In their two losses this season, the average losing margin is 12.5 points. Even if Houston is 6-4 SU in their last 10 games against Buffalo, nobody is picking them to win. However, the Texans are also 4-2 ATS in their last six games against the Bills and are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The $500K bet on the Bills’ spread could turn out to be interesting.

$362.5K on SF ML, $300K on Jets @ +7

The second-largest bet reported by Caesars is a $362,600 bet on the San Francisco 49ers to win their home game against the Seattle Seahawks outright. The 49ers are a -145 at the Moneyline against the Seahawks and considering both these teams are coming off losses, this is also another intriguing bet made.

Seattle has dropped back-to-back games after winning their season opener against the Chargers. Going farther back, the Seahawks are 13-7 SU in their last 20 games and are an impressive 13-2 SU in their last 15 games against the 49ers. San Francisco has lost its last five games at Levi’s Stadium and is just 1-6 SU in their last six home games against Seattle. Again, I like the balls of this $362.5K bettor.

Most interestingly, the third-largest bet made was on the Jets at +7 against the Tennessee Titans. The Jets’ offense has sputtered under Zach Wilson and they are 0-3 SU and ATS after three weeks. Tennessee though will be without Julio Jones and A.J. Brown so the Jets may have found a small window. The Jets are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games against the Titans and Tennessee is just 2-4 ATS in their last six games. Another risky bet? We’ll find out on Sunday.
