The Green Bay star QB then proceeded to shout out the people who helped him achieve what he did in 2020, including his teammates, and well, his fiancee. While he didn’t name names, Rodgers announcement came just days after it was reported that he was dating Big Little Lies actress Shailene Woodley.
Representatives for Rodgers and Woodley aren’t saying anything right now but it looks like the cat is already out of the bag.
Low-Key, Long Distance Relationship

E!News recently revealed that Rodgers and the 29-year old Woodley are in a long distance relationship. A source told the media outlet that the two “have kept things private and low-key”. Rodgers has remained in Green Bay in order to focus on the Packers season, which ended last Jan. 24th with a loss to the eventual Super Bowl winners Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game. Meanwhile, Woodley has been in Montreal filming “Misanthrope”, an upcoming crime film which is directed by Damian Szifron.
During a virtual appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show”, the Green Bay Packers star made a cryptic comments regarding “decisions and changes that have together in his life over the last few months. Rodgers added that he’s “having so much fun and it starts with love”. That statement looked innocent back then but now makes sense if he and Woodley are together now.
Rodgers’ love life was last in the limelight when he dated NASCAR driver Danica Patrick for a couple of years. Prior to Patrick, he was in a relationship with actress Olivia Munn. If the news is correct, this will be the first engagement for the 37-year old Rodgers who has never been married.
Third MVP Award

Rodgers won his third MVP award last weekend, taking 44 out of a total 50 media votes. He guided the Packers to a 13-3 record during the regular season while becoming only the third player in NFL history, after Johnny Unitas in 1958 and Tom Brady in 2010, to lead the league in passing touchdowns (48) while also throwing the fewest interceptions (5).
He recorded a career-high 84.4 in total QBR, which is the third highest mark since ESPN began using the metric 15 seasons ago. Rodgers also joined Brady, Unitas, Brett Favre, and Jim Brown as the NFL’s three-time MVP winner with only Peyton Manning having more with 5 MVP awards.
Although the Packers lost to the Bucs in the NFC title game, the best NFL betting sites have listed Green Bay as one of the top betting favorites to win Super Bowl LVI. Online sportsbook BetOnline has the Packers tied with the Buffalo Bills for the third best odds to win it all next season at +1200. With Rodgers coming off one of his best seasons ever and happily engaged to his fiancee, you bet he’s going to have a big 2021 season.
