The Caesars Sportsbook data is corroborated by the early BetOnline Week 3 tickets which shows that 92% of the bet count for the Arizona vs Jacksonville game have been made for the Cardinals. That’s also the highest at that sportsbook and just like at Caesars, it’s the only game where at least 90% of the action is on one team.
At Caesars, there are four teams who have claimed at least 80% of the total betting slips for their game. These are the Cardinals (95%), Raiders (90%), Ravens (87%), and Titans (85%). On the other hand, it’s Arizona (90%), Seattle (89%), Tampa Bay (87%), and Las Vegas (80%) who have $8 out of $10 wagered on them at the spread line.
Among these heavily-bet teams at BetOnline, the Buccaneers ( -1 ) and the Seahawks (-2) are the only teams that are favored by less than a field goal. At Caesars, the ticket count for these two teams is at 72% and 74%, respectively. Tampa Bay also has 72% of the betting money at Caesars while Seattle has 67%.

Going back to the numbers from the Caesars Sportsbook, eight out of the nine teams who took at least 80% of the betting money in their Week 3 game were favored by at least a field goal. The highest spread among the eight teams belongs to the Ravens who are a -8 against the hapless Lions. Arizona’s -7.5 spread against Jacksonville is second.
The team with the highest spread in Week 3 is Denver who is a -10.5 against the New York Jets. The Broncos have 74% of the tickets and 70% of the handle for that game. Interestingly, the Buccaneers have garnered a higher handle percentage than the Broncos at 72% despite being just a -1 point favorite against the Rams. Likewise, the Seahawks’ matched the Broncos in terms of betting slips with 74% although they are just -2 point betting favorites against the Minnesota Vikings.
More interestingly, however, is the Washington Football team getting 80% of the betting handle as a +7 point underdog against the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo, however, has 75% of the tickets against Washington per Caesars Sportsbook. But, if you cross-check the data with BetOnline, that sportsbook’s early bet count shows Washington getting 67% of the early tickets.
