- Donald Trump has opened as a -300 betting favorite to beat Pres. Joe Biden in a boxing match.
- Three years ago, Mr. Trump was also listed as a +120 betting favorite to beat Biden after the latter boasted he would “beat the hell” out of Trump if they were in high school.
- Biden however, is the odds-on favorite to win the 2024 U.S. Presidential election.
Former U.S. President Donald Trump would be a heavy -300 betting favorite in a theoretical boxing match against sitting American president Joe Biden.
Donald Trump said he’d like to box Joe Biden…so if he did, who ya got? 🥊 pic.twitter.com/T8tO6e2QS0

That’s according to online sportsbook BetOnline who was quick to come up with the opening lines for that “fantasy fight” after Trump “called out” Biden during a celebrity boxing press conference last Thursday.
Donald Trump just called in to the Evander Holyfield vs Vitor Belfort press conference ahead of his commentary gig on Saturday night and said he would easily KO Joe Biden if they fought…

Of course, Mr. Trump’s statement drew laughter from the crowd but, given what has been said between these two in the past, it was enough to create a betting market in the eyes of some of the best boxing sportsbooks.
Not the First Time
Joe Biden may or may not end up running in 2020, but his speech in Miami decrying sexual assault found one man in its crosshairs: President Trump. https://t.co/3pCxsQjwtb “If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.”

This isn’t the first time these two Presidents have been linked to a fight. Back in 2018, Biden told an audience during a rally at the University of Miami that he would’ve “beat the hell of out” of Trump in high school for comments that the latter has made about women.
“A guy who ended up becoming our national leader said, ‘I can grab a woman anywhere and she likes it. They asked me if I’d like to debate this gentleman, and I said, ‘No.’ I said, ‘If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.'”
Of course, the Donald didn’t take those comments well and tweeted that Crazy Joe would go down hard if they fought:
“Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy. Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!”
The best boxing betting sites were quick to pounce on the situation and immediately opened the betting lines for a possible bout between the two politicians. At that time, Trump opened as a -140 betting favorite while Biden came back at even money.
Oddsmakers put some stipulations for the bout though. The bout must be for charity and it was supposed to take place in 2018 at preferably the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. Of course, it never happened. Although Mr. Biden went on to beat Trump in the 2020 U.S. Presidential elections.
Trump Has Wrestling “Experience”
Lets be honest here tons of people voted for Donald Trump because of his body slam on Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania 23 pic.twitter.com/KPXCpIwUxp

Looking at the two, both men are well into their 70’s but if you talk about athletic background, both possess that. Trump played high school baseball and is still a “fairly active golfer”. Mr. Trump also has wrestling “experience” as he appeared in Wrestlemania 23 and tackled Vince McMahon to the ground while landing rabbit punches on the WWE Chairman.
Let’s not forget how that experience ended, however, as he took a Stone Cold Stunner from Steve Austin. That was humiliating though but it also showed Mr. Trump can take damage.
Biden meanwhile played baseball and football as he was known as “one hell of a halfback” at Archmere University. Unfortunately, he suffered a knee injury which, reportedly prevented him from turning pro. We’ve seen Biden stumble while going up the steps of Air Force One. But his staff blamed that one the weather.
Overall though, Trump has the size advantage and after taking that Stone Cold Stunner 14 years ago he showed he can take damage. It’s not likely though this fight happens although they could potentially meet again in 2024, at the elections, where Biden is currently a -383 co-favorite along with Kamala Harris with Trump following then in third at +483.
