Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers going up against Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen?
Brady joked that they wanted a tag-team cage match but their lawyers said their NFL contracts would allow it. So instead, the four will figure in an exhibition golf event which will become the sixth installment of The Match charity golf event.

The Match VI is happening on Wednesday, June 1st at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas. The Wynn Golf Club has previously hosted the last installment of The Match where Brooks Koepka defeated Bryson DeChambeau in a 12-hole battle. The exhibition event, produced by Turner Sports, will be televised by TNT, with coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m.
As with the previous editions of The Match, the players will be mic’d up during the entire event to allow viewers to hear the conversations inside the ropes and facilitate banter between the players and the broadcast team for the event. The composition of the event’s broadcast team will be announced at a later date.
In its first five editions, The Match has generated a total of $33 million in funds for various charitable institutions and has donated over 17 million meals to Feeding America. The upcoming event will still be sponsored by Capital One while Excel Sports Management and Tom Brady’s 199 Productions will serve as the tournament organizers.

It didn’t take long for the best golf betting sites to put up the opening odds for this exhibition golf contest featuring four of the NFL’s best quarterbacks. According to the online sportsbook SportsBetting.ag, the duo of Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are the -160 betting favorites against the pair of Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen who are currently pegged at +125.
Since Phil Mickelson upset Tiger Woods as the +175 betting underdog in the first installment of this charitable golf event, the betting favorite was won three out of the last four editions. Interestingly, Brady was on the losing side of two of those three instances. Brady paired with Mickelson as the +175 betting underdog to Woods and Peyton Manning in the Match 2 event in 2020 and lost. Brady and Lefty also lost to Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau as +130 bottom dogs at The Match IV last year.
This marks the first time that no professional golfers will be participating in the event. However, with a combined 9 Super Bowl wins and 86 playoff game appearances, The Match VI isn’t short of star power. Although their golf swings may not be as impressive as their ability to throw touchdown passes, having Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, and Allen in one sporting event for charity is certainly going to be a big show and a big win for charity.
