The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have emerged as the new odds on favorite to win Super Bowl LVI after the Sunday games of Week 5.
The Bucs produced their highest-scoring game of the season in beating the hapless Miami Dolphins 45-17 behind a brilliant bounce-back game by Tom Brady. Meanwhile, erstwhile favorites Kansas City lost in the nightcap against the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo has risen to second in most of the best NFL sportsbooks while the Chiefs have faded to third after a 2-3 start.

Tom Brady bounced back from a subpar Week 4 performance against his former team in the New England Patriots by throwing for 411 yards with 5 touchdowns without an interception. That was the first time in his 22-year career where Brady has thrown for over 400 passing yards with 5 passing TDs and it was only the 14th time in NFL history where a QB threw for 400 yards, with 5 TDS, and zero interceptions.
But Brady wasn’t the only player setting a record on Sunday as Antonio Brown also became the fastest player to catch 900 passes. Brown accomplished the feat in just 143 games played, breaking the former record of 149 games set by Marvin Harrison. Brown caught seven passes for 124 passing yards with two TD grabs on Sunday.
With the victory, the Bucs moved ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs on top of the Super Bowl LVI oddsboards. Tampa Bay is currently listed at +550 at BetMGM, FoxBet, Caesars Sportsbook, and PointsBet. The Buccaneers are at their longest at +575 at the BetOnline App while their shortest odds to win SB LVI right now is at +500 at Bet 365 US.

To make matters worse for the Chiefs, they suffered an upset loss as 3-point favorites at the spread line and a -150 at the Moneyline to the Buffalo Bills in the headliner of Sunday’s games. Kansas City is now 2-3 on the season and they are currently at the bottom of the AFC West team standings.
As a result, the Chiefs have dropped to third in most in the Super Bowl betting boards of the best NFL sportsbooks. Kansas City is now listed at +700 at PointsBet and Bet 365 US. The Chiefs are also pegged at +650 via the Caesars Sportsbook and are shortest at +600 via the FoxBet App.
Meanwhile, Buffalo has risen to second behind the Buccaneers in the latest Super Bowl betting boards after a statement win against Kansas City. The Bills are currently listed at +600 via BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook, Pointset, and Unibet. Buffalo is also a +550 to win the Super Bowl at Bet365 US. Buffalo has also overtaken Kansas City as AFC conference favorites at +250 for the Bills and +300 for the Chiefs at the BetOnline App.
