- Milwaukee and Sacramento play again on March 16, 2022 at the Fiserv Forum.
Earlier this month, we talked about the total score in games featuring the Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings going over the betting total set for the game in 17 consecutive games.
Well, the Bucks and Kings combined to score 260 points last January 22nd in Milwaukee. That means that the total has gone over in each of the last 18 meetings between these two teams.

Saturday’s game saw the Bucks host the Kings without Giannis Antetokounmpo who sat out the game due to right knee soreness. But despite missing the Greek Freak’s 28.6 points per game scoring, the Bucks still managed to put up 133 points behind Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday.
Milwaukee’s other two stars combined to score 60 points to lead the Bucks. Milwaukee shot knocked down 50% of their 42 three-point attempts, making six more triples than the Kings. That was basically the difference in the game as the Kings shot better at 52.2% and made more field goals 51 to 45.
The game wasn’t easy though as the Kings raced to a double-digit lead in the first quarter. But Middleton and Holiday helped flipped the switch in the second period as the Bucks took a 62-54 advantage at the half. They would weather every storm the Kings would throw after them before winning 133-127. Sacramento however, won the ATS battle by covering the 8-point betting spread.

Bet the over.

All games between the Bucks and Kings since March 10, 2013, have seen the score go over the posted betting total. That’s a long time ago, considering that the Bucks were still led by Monta Ellis and Mike Dunleavy Jr. while the Kings were still under the leadership of DeMarcus Cousins and Tyreke Evans. And yes, the controversial Larry Sanders was still a key player for the Bucks that season.
In the last 10 head-to-head meetings between the Bucks and Kings, the teams have combined to score a total of 233.5 points per game and 244.67 points per game in their previous three meetings, including 257 in their most recent meeting last April 3, 2021. So if you hesitated on betting on the over 226.5 points at the best NBA sportsbooks last Saturday, you were badly mistaken as the Bucks and Kings combined for their highest total since February 27, 2019, when they combined to score 281 points.
Interestingly, the Kings have an O/U record of 24-23 on the season while the Bucks are at 20-28. But there’s something when these teams play that it’s always a high-scoring affair.
The Bucks and Kings play again on March 16th in Milwaukee and there’s no question, that the over is worth the bet again. Don’t miss it.
