The Boston Celtics moved up the NBA championship odds boards at the best NBA betting sites after a masterful Game 5 win over the Miami Heat on Wednesday night.

At BetMGM, the Celtics are listed at +140 with the Warriors having the better -140 odds. Meanwhile, the Heat are listed at +1800 there and the Mavs at +3000. Boston is also listed at +140 via Bovada whereas Golden State is at a shorter -150 price. Miami is pegged at +1500 while Dallas completes the Bovada betting board at +4500.

The Warriors and Celtics are also listed at -150 and +140, respectively via Caesars Sportsbook and PointsBet USA. The Heat are at +2000 and +1500 at both sportsbooks while the Mavs are at the bottom with their +4500 and +4000 odds, respectively. Bet365 USA has Boston at a shorter +130 odds with the Warriors booked at -140. The Dubs are also at -140 at the BetOnline App while the Celtics have their shortest title odds at +120.

Celtics are Huge Betting Favorites in Game 6

After such a decisive win in the all-important Game 5, the Boston Celtics have opened as huge betting favorites for Game 6 which is scheduled for Friday at the TD Garden in Boston. According to the BetOnline App, the Celtics are -8.5 point spread and -385 Moneyline favorites to beat the Heat and advance to the NBA Finals. The Celtics have an all-time record of 40-4 when leading a series 3-2.

In a series that has seen momentum changes decide the outcome of each game, the Celtics delivered another one in the second half. The Heat had a 44-14 run in their Game 1 win while the Celtics responded with a 60-21 Game 2 run to tie the series. Miami opened Game 3 with a 46-20 scoring spurt and the Celtics began Game 4 with a 26-4 run. Now the Celtics are one win away from winning two trophies named after two of their legends – the Bob Cousy Eastern Conference Finals trophy and the Larry Bird Eastern Conference Finals MVP award.
