Ige is the UFC’s no. 10 ranked featherweight and he will be looking to get back on track. The 30-year-old won seven out of eight bouts before losing his most recent two Octagon appearances. In his last bout, veteran fighter Josh Emmett edged Ige at UFC 269 last December 11, 2021, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
A professional since 2014, Ige has fought for promotions like RFA, Pancrase, Shogun Fights, Legacy FC, Cage Fury Fighting Championships, and Titan FC before appearing in the Contender Series in 2017 where he produced a submission win over Luis Gomez that earned him his UFC contract. Overall, he has a record of 15-5 with four knockouts and five submission victories.
“50 K” will be the betting underdog for the third time in his last five UFC bouts. Ige was listed at +225 odds when he lost to Calvin Kattar at the main event of UFC Fight Island 1. He was also the +125 bottom dog when he fought Emmett the last time out. Ige was also the +127 underdog when he lost to Julio Arce at UFC 220 in 2018.

Meanwhile, Evloev kept his unbeaten record intact after defeating Hakeem Dawodu via unanimous decision at UFC 263 last June 12, 2021. In that bout, Evloev used his wrestling skills to dominate the first two rounds before cruising to pick up his 5th straight win inside the Octagon and his 15th overall against no defeats.
The 28-year-old from Russia is a former M-1 Global interim and full-time bantamweight champion. As the full champion, he made two successful title defenses before joining the UFC in 2019. Evloev defeated Seung Woo Choi in his UFC debut and added four more wins to move up to 13th in the latest UFC featherweight rankings. Overall, he has a record of 15-0 with three knockouts and four submission wins.
Evloev has never seen the plus money sign placed next to his name in his entire MMA career. He opened at even money odds against Ilia Topuria in a bout that was supposed to take place last January but Evloev withdrew after testing positive for COVID-19. His opening odds against Ige represent his longest opening odds ever in the UFC. But then again Ige is undoubtedly his biggest test so far inside the Octagon.
