The annual summer UFC tradition in Las Vegas is back after a one year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The International Fight Week is one of the biggest events of the UFC’s schedule and sadly, it was cancelled last year due to the outbreak of COVID-19. But with things starting to open up now, the UFC is bringing back its yearly celebration of the fight game.
According to an announcement made by the UFC on Saturday, the 9th International Fight Week will take place from September 21 to 25, 2021. As in previous instances, the Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place during the event and it will be culminated by a huge fight card on the weekend.

The 2020 UFC Hall of Fame induction Ceremony, presented by Toyo Tires, will be held on September 23rd and it will honor specific achievements and contributions to the UFC and the sports of Mixed Martial Arts.
From September 24 to 25, fight fans will be able to take part in an accessible and fully interactive two day UFC Fan Experience that will include meet and greets, autograph signing sessions, and partner activations that provide unprecedented access to UFC champions, top-ranked contenders, Hall of Famers, and other UFC personalities.
Likewise, fans from around the world who will converge in Las Vegas for the International Fight Week will be able to witness the ceremonial weigh-ins, press conferences,and live entertainment of a traditional fight week leading to the schedule’s culminating activity. In the case of the 2021 International Fight Week, the event is UFC 266 and is is loaded with an unbelievable lineup of fights.

This year’s International Fight week will be headlined by the UFC featherweight title fight between champion Alexander Volkanovski of Australia and top ranked contender Brian Ortega of the United States. Volkanovski is currently a slight -185 betting favorite to retain his belt at the BetOnline App while Ortega is a +160 underdog in the latest oddsboards.
In the co-main event of UFC 266, Peruvian-Krgystani standout Valentina Shevchenko will defend the UFC women’s flyweight championship against Alaska’s Lauren Murphy. Bullet is a massive -1000 odds on favorite to beat Murphy who is currently pegged at +600 at the same online sportsbook.
