Let’s get into it!

MMA is Growing More Popular Around the World

The sport of mixed martial arts has been growing around the world for more than a decade. The surge in popularity has ramped up in 2020. For a time, MMA was the only major professional sport taking place in the United States!

The UFC began holding events again in May. It was a huge moment for the promotion and helped it reach a huge number of new viewers. Nowadays, the UFC is holding events on a regular basis.

It’s incredible to see how many elite fighters from around the world are now competing in the UFC. Only one of the promotion’s champions hails from the United States. This has also helped the promotion to gain more fans in many different countries.

Over in Asia, ONE Championship remains the most popular MMA promotion. ONE resumed its operations in June with a pair of events in China. In recent months, the promotion has been putting on exciting shows in Bangkok, Thailand.

Many are now flocking to different online sports betting sites to place their wagers on major events. Like the sport itself, MMA betting has been growing extremely popular in recent months. Most expect this trend to continue for years to come.

In just a few days, Asia’s top MMA promotion will finally return home.

We’re Just a Few Days Away From ONE Championship’s Return to Singapore!

The UFC remains the biggest and most popular MMA promotion on the planet. The days when this was the only show in town are over now, though. Today, there are many popular mixed martial arts promotions around the world.

Some of the UFC’s best fighters have recently chosen to sign with ONE Championship. That includes Demetrious Johnson, Eddie Alvarez, and Sage Northcutt. This influx of new talent has further helped this promotion grow.

On October 9th, ONE Championship will finally return to its home city of Singapore. It’s an exciting move for fans in this city-state. ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong commented on this exciting news on his Facebook page this week.

“I am thrilled to announce that ONE: Reign of Dynasties this Friday October 9 will be the first of many international events in Singapore!” he said. “Thank you to the Singapore government for entrusting me and my team to lead the way as the first international production of any kind (in sports, music, and/or entertainment) to return since borders closed earlier this year due to Covid-19. We are ready to ignite the world on fire!!! Stay tuned for big news!”

One Championship’s return to Singapore is expected to produce fireworks. The main event features Sam-A-Gaiyanghadao and Josh Tonna competing for the ONE Muay Thai Strawweight Championship. The undercard features several interesting bouts, as well.

Odds for this event are not-yet being offered online. Fans are able to place their wagers on a number of exciting UFC events, though.

Odds on Fight Island Events Are Still Available Online!

Hardcore MMA fans are looking forward to seeing ONE Championship holding major events again. Since returning in June, the promotion has only put on small shows, many of which only featured muay thai matches. The UFC, however, is stacking fight cards with top-level talent from around the world.

On September 26th, the UFC returned to Fight Island. Several more events are scheduled to take place here over the next few weeks. That includes an exciting fight card this weekend headlined by Cory Sandhagen and Marlon Moraes.

The co-main event takes place between Edson Barboza and Makwan Amirkhani. Both men are in desperate need of a win here. Barboza is entering as the -260 favorite. Amirkhani is currently listed as the +200 underdog.

There’s a chance that odds on ONE Championship’s return to Singapore will start being offered soon. In the meantime, feel free to place your bets on this month’s Fight Island cards. Some of these odds are offering fans great opportunities to win big.
