Patriots are Most Popular Bet Among Sunday’s Week 12 Teams

The New England Patriots are the hottest team in the NFL right now and they are also the most popular Week 12 bet.

New England has won five straight games and they have outscored their last three opponents by an impressive aggregate score of 95-13. The Patriots have climbed to first place in the AFC East and they have seen their Super Bowl LVI odds move from 100/1 on Halloween to 15/1 on Thanksgiving Day.

Titans Without Derrick Henry, Julio Jones, and AJ Brown

The Patriots will host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday and they are laying more points than any other team at 6.5 points despite playing a fellow contender. New England opened as 3 point favorites but with Tennessee’s injury woes piling up, that number has gone up to 6.5 points in the latest betting boards at the best NFL sportsbooks.

As of Black Friday, the Titans will be without Derrick Henry, Julio Jones, and AJ Brown. Brown is the latest key offensive player hurt for Tennessee. Brown has caught 46 passes for 615 yards with 10 touchdowns. Aside from the three, the Titans will be without defensive tackle Teair Tart, linebackers David Long and Rashaan Evans, running back Jeremy McNichols, and guard Nate Davis for Sunday’s game.

According to BetMGM, the Patriots have the most betting handle for any game on Sunday and have the second-most number of betting slips written among the remaining teams that still have to play their Week 12 games. At Caesars Sportsbook, the Patriots have 58% of the total betting tickets and 96% of the total betting handle at -6.5 odd. BetOnline meanwhile, said that 58% of the total bets for that game.

Rams at Packers a Pick ‘Em

Sunday’s Week 12 games include five matchups between teams with winning records, including a game between two teams who have Super Bowl Odds of 20/1 or less at Caesars Sportsbook. One of those games is a showdown between the 7-3 SU Los Angeles Rams and the 8-3 SU Green Bay Packers where the home team in Green Bay opened as 2-point favorites.

That game is now listed as a pick’em at Caesars Sportsbook after Aaron Rodgers said ( and showed) that he has a fractured toe. Rodgers has not practiced all week for the Packers. Head coach Matt LaFleur announced on Friday that Rodgers will start against the Rams but it remains to be seen what condition he is in with that toe injury,

According to Caesars, 60% of the tickets for that game have been wagered for Green Bay but 66% of the dollars have been bet on the Rams. At BetOnline, it’s 50-50 in terms of total betting slips written for.The Packers are coming off a loss but they have not lost back-to-back games under LaFleur’s tutelage. The Rams are have lost two straight games and have not covered in their last four games played.
