  • Red Rock Resorts announced that the Red Rock Casino will undergo a “casino-wide transformation”.
  • New dining options including the third Lotus of Siam restaurant in the city will be added to the Summerlin property.
  • Red Rock will also build an “adults-only” pool and a new bar to improve the casino’s amenities.

Red Rock Resorts unveiled lat Monday plans to upgrade the Red Rock Casino in Summerlin as part of a “casino-wide transformation”.

Per Red Rock Vice President and General Manager Scott Nelson:

Our company is constantly looking for ways to enhance the property. We’re always looking for what our guests are looking for and what attracts those guests, understanding that they come to Red Rock, for the most part, multiple times per week. It’s about keeping the property where they want it, keeping it enhanced and relevant to what their expectations are.”

New Dining Options and Makeover

According to a report from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Las Vegas casino will be adding several dining options while also getting a property makeover. Among the improvements to the casino are a renovated high-limit slot room, a refurbished 21-and-over pool area, a new Lotus of Siam restaurant, Naxos Taverna, Kallisto Oyster Bar, and an all-new casino bar.

Lotus of Siam is considered one of the top Asian dining spots in the city. The upcoming restaurant at the Red Rock location will be the third Lotus of Siam restaurant in the area and is expected to open during the 4th quarter of this year.

Crown Jewel of Red Rock Resorts

Located in Summerlin, Nevada, Red Rock Casino is considered the crown jewel of the operator that bears the same name. Red Rock Resorts also operates the Green Valley Ranch in Henderson. It also owns multiple properties under the Station Casino brand name throughout the Las Vegas Area. The company also owns 10 Wildfire branded casinos, including seven in Henderson.

Earlier this month, Red Rock Resorts announced that it will be permanently closing three Las Vegas casinos which have been shuttered since the state ordered a 90-day holiday during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Fiesta Henderson, Fiesta Rancho, and Texas Station will all be demolished with the company planning to sell the real estate. Last week, Red Rock Resorts purchased a 126-acre land south of the Strip for $172 million. The company is also currently building a casino in Durango, Southwest of Las Vegas, and a Wildfire casino downtown.
