The Bristol Casino- Future Home of Hard Rock celebrated its grand opening on July 8th with a ceremony attended by Hard Rock officials, state and local officials, business leaders, and members of the local community.

The gambling property will be open 24/7 with ample parking space. Aside from its main casino floor, it has a non-smoking section and a high-limit gambling area. Guests can also dine at Mr. Lucky’s restaurant or buy food at the grab-and-go food outlet. Customers can enjoy a few drinks at the Bristol sports bar which also offers live entertainment.

Bristol Casino – Future Home of Hard Rock is the temporary casino facility for what will be the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol. The interim site has 80,000 to 100,000 square feet of space, including a 30,000 square foot gaming area. The casino is equipped with 870 slot machines, 21 table games, and the first brick-and-mortar sportsbook in the state with five betting windows and 15 self-service kiosks.
The temporary casino will operate until the permanent structure is ready to open its doors to the public in the summer of 2024. The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol will be a larger gambling property that will have 2,700 slot machines and 100 table games open. It will have five restaurants, four bars, a Rock Spa with seven treatment rooms, and an indoor/outdoor entertainment venue that will be open 24/7.

The Bristol Casino – Future Home of Hard Rock is just the start of good things to come for Bristol. The temporary site has created over 600 good-paying jobs in the locality and that number is expected to climb to around 2,000 plus 1,500 indirect jobs once the permanent casino opens its doors in 24 months.
The benefits also extend across Southwest Virginia as communities will receive tax revenues from the project. During its proposal, the owners estimate annual tax payments of $21 million to Bristol. Likewise, local businesses in the Tri-Cities will also get a boost from increased tourist visits and spending.
